CRESCENT-WRAPPED DRUMSTICKS

- Remove and discard skin from drumsticks. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat; stir in the barbecue sauce. Add drumsticks. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until a thermometer reads 180°, turning occasionally. Remove chicken from pan; cool slightly., Separate crescent dough into eight triangles; place in a lightly greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Brush dough with some of the beaten egg; sprinkle with cheese and Italian seasoning. , Place meaty portion of each drumstick at the tip of each triangle, with bony portion extended beyond one long side of triangle. Wrap drumstick in dough; place seam side down. Brush with remaining egg; sprinkle with sesame seeds. , Bake at 375° for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown and a thermometer reads 180°.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with foil and bake the chicken strips for 10 minutes.
- When the cook time is up, unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Cut each chicken strip in half and place one strip on the end of each triangle.
- Top the chicken with a spoonful of marinara sauce and two pieces of mozzarella cheese.
- Wrap the end of the crescent roll dough around the chicken strip.
- Remove the foil from the pan and place the crescent rolls on the baking sheet.
- Bake the crescents for 10 to 12 minutes, until the dough is golden brown.
- Before serving, brush each crescent roll with melted butter and top with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

- Heat oven to 375°F. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray; set aside. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter over medium-high heat; cook chicken in butter 8 to 10 minutes or until chicken is well browned on all sides. Remove from skillet; cool slightly.
- Cut mozzarella cheese into 8 pieces; cut small slits in side of each chicken tenderloin, and insert piece of mozzarella cheese. Unroll dough; separate into 8 triangles. Place piece of chicken on wide end of triangle; roll dough around chicken, and place on baking sheet. Repeat for remaining dough and chicken.
- In small microwavable cup, microwave remaining 1 tablespoon butter uncovered on High 15 to 30 seconds or until melted. Brush crescents with melted butter; top each with about 1 teaspoon Parmesan cheese.
- Bake 14 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. In microwavable measuring cup, heat marinara sauce covered on Medium-High (70%) 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through. Serve chicken with heated marinara sauce.

- Boil chicken breasts in water until tender (about 1 hour).
- Lay out 1 crescent place l small strip of Velveeta at the wide end.
- Place a strip of cooked chicken over Velveeta and roll up crescent.

Chicken Parmesan is a little too time consuming when I am trying to juggle two kids under the age of three while trying to cook. This recipe is so simple and even my picky three year old devoured it!

- Cook chicken strips according to package directions. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles. Place one slice of cheese on the wide end of each crescent roll.
- In a saucepan over low heat, warm spaghetti sauce until heated through. Dip cooked chicken strips in spaghetti sauce so they are completely covered. Place dipped chicken strips on top of cheese and roll up crescent rolls. Place rolls on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush melted butter on top of each roll and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
