⅓ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon apple pie spice

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In small bowl, toss apple slices in melted butter; set aside. Separate dough into 8 triangles.
  • In small bowl, mix brown sugar and apple pie spice. Divide mixture evenly among triangles. Top each triangle with apple slice. Starting at long side of each triangle, wrap dough around apple. Place on cookie sheet. Brush with remaining butter.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until crescents are deep golden brown and apples are softened. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Steps:

  • Swap the apple for chocolate or pudding.Give your rolls a festive touch with red or green cream cheese!For a savory twist fill with apples and pepper jack cheese.
  • Unroll the crescent dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place a spoonful to two of apples into each crescent and roll the dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until crescent is golden on the outside.

A quick and easy apple dessert recipe with a homemade apple pie filling stuffed in flaky crescents, baked and drizzled with glaze.

1 package Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 Granny Smith apples, (peeled, diced into small pieces)
¾ cup water
⅓ cup sugar
⅛ cup cornstarch
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, bring water, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice to a boil, stirring constantly until sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add apples, stir, reduce heat and let simmer for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Roll out crescent rolls and evenly spread apple mixture over each roll. Roll up and place on prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-13 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown.
  • In a small bowl, mix together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  • Drizzle glaze over the top of crescent rolls and enjoy!

2 granny smith apples - peeled, cored
2 stick butter, melted
1 1/2 c white sugar
dash(es) nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
12 oz mountain dew, lemon lime soda or gingerale
cinnamon
ice cream or whipped cream

Steps:

  • 1. After apples are peeled and cored, cut each apple into 8 slices. Roll each slice in one crescent roll. Place seam side down in buttered 8 X 13 pan.
  • 2. Melt butter, add sugar, nutmeg and vanilla and pour over rolls. Pour beverage over rolls then sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
