2 packages (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 pound bulk pork sausage
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 envelope country gravy mix
6 large eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1-1/4 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded pepper Jack cheese

Steps:

  • Separate crescent dough into 16 triangles and place on a greased 14-in. round pizza pan with points toward the center. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of pan to form a crust; seal seams. Bake at 375° for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown., Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the sausage, onion and green pepper over medium heat until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Prepare gravy according to package directions. Stir into sausage mixture; set aside., In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Add egg mixture; cook and stir until almost set. Spread gravy mixture over crust. Top with eggs, mushrooms and cheeses. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until eggs are set and cheese is melted. Cut into wedges.

1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
8 large eggs
2 cups 2% milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles; drain. Unroll crescent roll dough into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Seal seams and perforations. Sprinkle with sausage and cheese., In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over sausage and cheese., Bake, uncovered, 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving., Make-Ahead: Refrigerate unbaked casserole, covered, several hours or overnight. To use, preheat oven to 375°. Remove casserole from refrigerator while oven heats. Bake as directed, increasing time as necessary until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.

If you are serving this to a large brunch gathering then better make two of these, because of the high sodium content in the sausage meat I would advise not to add in any extra salt to the recipe, you may use lots of black pepper :)

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 (8 ounce) tubes refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 lb small pork sausage or 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 (10 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, well drained
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (cut into very small cubes)
3 -4 tablespoons chopped pimiento, chopped
6 large eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 cup 18% table cream or 2/3 cup half-and-half cream
1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper (or to taste)
1/2-3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika

Steps:

  • Butter an 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
  • In a skillet cook the pork sausage meat in a skillet until well browned (you may drain the fat but leave a few tablespoons in the skillet; remove to a bowl and set aside.
  • In the same skillet add in onion and cook for about 3 minutes, then add in the sliced mushrooms and mix to combine; set aside.
  • Remove and unroll 1 package of the crescent rolls.
  • Press the dough into the bottom of the baking dish to form a crust.
  • Seal the perforations together.
  • Sprinkle the cooked sausage meat over the dough, then sprinkle the sauteed onion/mushroom mixture over the sausages.
  • Top with finely cubed cream cheese, then pimientos.
  • In a bowl beat eggs with cream, cayenne pepper, black pepper and garlic powder; pour evenly over the top of the mixture.
  • Unroll the remaining crescent roll.
  • Cut the dough into 1/2-inch lengthwise strips.
  • Use strips to form a lattice crust over the top of the quiche.
  • Sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake at 350°F for 50-55 minutes (cover with foil if browning too much).
  • Let stand for 15 minutes before slicing.

1/2 pound bulk hot Italian sausage
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
2 tablespoons minced chives
1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup 4% cottage cheese
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Paprika

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, brown sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, 4-5 minutes, breaking sausage into crumbles; drain. Stir in chives. , On a lightly floured surface, unroll crescent dough into a long rectangle; seal seams and perforations. Cut into 48 pieces. Press onto the bottoms and up the sides of greased miniature muffin cups. , Fill each with about 2 teaspoons of sausage mixture. In a large bowl, combine the eggs and cheeses. Spoon 2 teaspoons over sausage mixture in each cup. Sprinkle with paprika. , Bake at 375° until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 20-25 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. If desired, sprinkle with additional minced chives. Serve warm.

1 lb owens breakfast sausage
3 cups fat free egg substitute
12 ounces low-fat cheddar cheese
1/2 onion, diced
1/2 bell pepper, diced
cooking spray

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400*.
  • Chop onions and bell peppers until diced to your liking.
  • Heat skillet with cooking spray and add diced onions and bell peppers.
  • Cook until slightly soft.
  • Add breakfast sausage to sauted vegetables and cook well until no longer pink.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl mix together egg substitute and cheese and stir until combined. Add cooked sausage and veggies into bowl and mix together well.
  • Spray a 9" pie plate with cooking spray and pour in mixture.
  • Bake approxiametly 45 minutes to 1 hour or until set. Slice and enjoy.
