1 clove garlic, finely chopped

1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 cups Progresso™ reduced-sodium chicken broth (from 32-oz carton) or vegetable broth
1 bag (16 oz) Cascadian Farm® frozen organic broccoli cuts
2 cups Cascadian Farm® frozen organic sweet corn (from 16-oz bag)
1 cup half-and-half

Steps:

  • In 4-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Cook onion and garlic in butter 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute.
  • Stir in broth, broccoli and corn. Heat to boiling over high heat. Reduce heat; simmer 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.
  • Stir in half-and-half. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until hot (do not boil).

1/3 cup sliced green onions
1 teaspoon salt

2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the first 6 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 12-14 minutes or until vegetables are tender., Meanwhile, in another saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour and nutmeg until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir into vegetable mixture; heat through. Sprinkle with cheese.

1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cans (14.5 ounces each) reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 large baking potato, peeled and diced
1 head broccoli (about 1 pound), cut into bite-size florets, stalks peeled and thinly sliced
1 package (10 ounces) frozen corn kernels
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 cup whole milk
Coarse salt and ground pepper

Steps:

  • In a large pot, cook bacon over medium-low, stirring occasionally, until crisp, 8 to 10 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate. Increase heat to medium. Cook onion, stirring, until it begins to soften, 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Add flour; cook, stirring constantly, 30 seconds. Add broth and potato; bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer; cook until potato is tender, about 10 minutes. Add broccoli, corn, thyme, and milk. 1 cup hot water
5 bacon strips
1 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
1-1/2 cups fresh or frozen whole kernel corn
1 can (14-3/4 ounces) cream-style corn
1-1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
1/8 teaspoon dried basil

Steps:

  • Dissolve bouillon in water; set aside. In a large Dutch oven, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. 2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 ½ cups water
2 cubes vegetable bouillon
2 cups corn
2 cups soy milk
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in onions and celery; cook until just slightly golden. Stir in carrots and garlic; cook until garlic is slightly golden.
  • Meanwhile, bring water to a boil over high heat. Stir in bouillon, and reduce heat to medium. When bouillon cubes have dissolved, add corn and the vegetables from the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add water, if necessary. Reduce heat to low, and pour in 1 cup soy milk. Stir soup well, then stir in remaining 1 cup soy milk. Quickly whisk in flour.
