CREAMY BEEF PASTA RECIPE

An easy, creamy beef pasta recipe that is loaded with flavor and cheese!

Number Of Ingredients 15

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small yellow onion, diced (about a cup)
2 pounds lean ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 cup flour
1 (28- ounce) can tomato sauce
1 cup beef broth
1 pound Rotini pasta
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
optional - garnish with parsley (fresh or dried)

Steps:

  • In a large, deep skillet heat the olive oil over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add in the diced onions and sauté for 5-6 minutes, until they begin to soften. Add in the ground beef to the skillet and break the meat apart. Cook until no pink remains. Drain excess grease and return the to heat.
  • With the heat still on medium, add in the garlic, basil, oregano, salt, red pepper, and flour. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly to coat.
  • Add in the tomato sauce and broth and stir to combine. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • While sauce is simmering, boil Rotini according to pasta directions. Drain.
  • Add the cream and pasta to the sauce, stirring to combine. Add in the cheese and stir until melted.
  • Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.

2 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
2 cups shredded cheddar or part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
2 cups uncooked small pasta
2 cups whole milk
1/2 to 1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 hours or until pasta is tender.

I found this on a package of Philadelphia light cream cheese and it sounds good. It uses jarred sauce and cream cheese, I can't wait to try it.

1/2 lb uncooked spaghetti
1 lb lean ground beef
1 (24 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
4 ounces light cream cheese, cubed
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  • Meanwhile brown ground beef in a large skillet, drain off grease. Stir in sauce and cream cheese, cook on low for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce is well blended and heated through, stirring frequently.
  • Drain spaghetti, add it to the sauce and mix lightly. Top with parmesan cheese.

1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon butter
28 ounces can tomatoes with juice
4 ounces can mushrooms, chopped and drained
2 1/4 ounces can sliced rice olives, drained
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
12 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained
10 3/4 ounces can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup water
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Saute onions and green peppers in butter in skillet until tender. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, oregano, and beef. Simmer for 10 minutes. Transfer to slow cooker.
  • Add spaghetti. Mix well.
  • Combine soup and water. Pour over casserole. Sprinkle with cheeses.
  • Cover. Cook on LOW 4-6 hours.
  • TIP: Add 3 tablespoons oil t water before cooking pasta. It keeps it from sticking together.

1/2 cup green onion, sliced
2 tablespoons margarine
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
1 cup milk
7 ounces spaghetti, cooked,drained
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 (2 1/2 ounce) package smoked sliced Buddig beef, chopped

Steps:

  • Saute green onion and mushrooms in margarine.
  • Add cream cheese and milk; stir until cheese is melted.
  • Toss with spaghetti, parmesan cheese and meat; heat thoroughly.
  • Sprinkle with additional cheese if desired.
