Cranberry Cosmopolitans Food

LIMONCELLO COSMOPOLITAN

Steps:

• Combine vodka, cranberry juice and a splash of Caravello Limoncello in a shaker with ice.
• Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a lemon wedge.

WHITE COSMOPOLITAN

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients, except garnish and cranberry toothpick, in a cocktail shaker with ice.
• Pour into a martini glass; garnish with lime twist and cranberry skewer.

CRANBERRY COSMOPOLITAN

Steps:

• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes; add vodka, orange liqueur, cranberry juice concentrate and lime juice. Cover and shake vigorously.
• Strain into a martini glass.
• If desired, garnish with an orange peel twist and a fresh cranberry.

COSMOPOLITAN COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.
• To make the garnish: hold a 3cm round piece of orange zest about 10cm above your cosmo and very carefully wave it over a lit match or lighter flame. Bend the outer edge of the zest in towards the flame so that the orange oils are released, then drop the zest into your drink.

COSMOPOLITAN COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Combine vodka, lime juice, triple sec, and cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, cover and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
• Garnish with a lime wedge.

WINTER WHITE COSMOPOLITAN

Steps:

• Combine ingredients over ice in a shaker tin. Shake and strain into chilled martini glass. Float 3 or 4 frozen cranberries on top for garnish.

Steps:

• Wet the rim of the glass. You can do this by running a slice of lime along the rim, dipping the glass in water or lime juice (SEE VIDEO in NOTES)
• Pour some sparkling sugar and edible glitter onto a plate
• Place the glass upside down, on the plate and turn/spin the glass to coat it with sugar and glitter
• Turn glass upright.
• Then carefully add cranberry juice, sparkling water, lime juice and orange extract to glass, dividing ingredients between 2 drinks. (*you can use a measuring cup with a spout or a funnel, if you don't feel confident in your pouring skills :) )

POMEGRANATE COSMOPOLITANS

Steps:

• Combine the vodka, orange liqueur, cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, and lime juice in a large pitcher. Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice, pour the cocktail mixture in, and shake for a full 30 seconds. Pour into martini glasses, garnish with a slice of lime, and serve immediately.

COSMOPOLITAN SPRITZ

Steps:

• Stir vodka, Cointreau, lime juice, and cranberry juice in a pitcher to combine. Do ahead: Cosmo mix can be made 10 hours ahead. Cover and chill.
• To make 1 cocktail, fill a Collins glass two thirds full with ice. Pour in 2 oz. club soda and 2 oz. cava, then 3¼ oz. Cosmo mix. Add a dash of bitters and gently stir once. Garnish with a rosemary sprig.

CRANBERRY COSMOPOLITANS

Steps:

• Fill a large pitcher with ice. Pour in all ingredients except cranberries; stir vigorously. Strain into glasses, discarding ice. Garnish with berries.

COSMOPOLITANS

Steps:

• Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and pour through a strainer into four martini glasses.

KICKIN' CRANBERRY COSMO

Steps:

• In a shaker filled with ice, combine cranberry juice drink, vodka, and lime juice. Shake it up and then strain into a large martini glass. Top with a splash lemon-lime soda and garnish with lime, if using. Enjoy!

COSMOPOLITAN CRANBERRY SAUCE

Steps:

• In heavy medium saucepan over moderate heat, combine cranberries, sugar, and 1/2 cup water. Bring to boil, stirring often to dissolve sugar, then reduce heat to moderately low and simmer, stirring often, until thickened and reduced to about 3 cups, about 15 minutes.
• Transfer to medium bowl and cool, stirring often, until tepid, about 30 minutes. Stir in vodka and liqueur. Transfer to serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate until chilled and set, at least 2 hours. (Sauce can be made up to 2 weeks ahead and refrigerated.) Serve chilled or at room temperature.

COSMOPOLITAN

Steps:

• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, Cointreau, and cranberry and lime juices. Cover and shake vigorously to combine and chill. Strain the cosmopolitan into a chilled martini glass. Twist the orange zest over the drink and serve.

CRANBERRY COSMOPOLITAN

Steps:

• In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, orange liqueur, and ice; shake until well combined. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Twist orange peel over cocktail and add to glass. Garnish with skewered cranberries; serve immediately.

FANCY COSMOPOLITAN

Steps:

• Shake.
• strain into Martini glass.

FRESH CRANBERRY COSMO

Steps:

• Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake until the granita melts completely. Pour into a martini glass and serve immediately.
• Place the water, cranberries and sugar into a small saucepan, set over medium-high heat and simmer until the berries begin to pop, approximately 7 minutes. Remove from the heat. Puree with a stick blender, blender or food processor, for 1 minute. Pass the mixture through a fine mesh strainer directly into a metal 13 by 9-inch pan. Do not press on the skins. Simply allow the juice to drip through the strainer. Add the zest and stir to combine. Place in the freezer until set, at least 6 hours and up to overnight. Once frozen, scrape the mixture with a fork to create a shaved ice texture. Serve immediately.
