Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 cup butter
2 cups graham crackers
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter chips
1 cup M&Ms
1 cup small pretzels (I used Pretzel Thins)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F/175°C
  • Line a 9×13 baking dish with foil (optional).
  • Place butter in the 9×13 pan and place int he oven for 3-4 minutes until it's melted. Remove immediately and sprinkle the graham crackers crumbs and salt on top. Stir the butter and crumbs together and press evenly into the bottom of the pan.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly on top.
  • Combine all the chips and M&Ms in a large bowl and sprinkle these evenly onto the sweetened condensed milk layer.
  • Top the chips with the pretzels. Press them down firmly into the mixture so they stick.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned.
  • Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing. I even like to chill them to get perfect slices.

Steps:

  • 1. Spread peanut butter on one Ritz crackers.
  • 2. Then add marshmallow cream to another cracker.
  • 3. Sandwich both together.

  • 6. Dip sandwiched cookies into chocolate, covering both sides. After they harden, store in an airtight container.
  • 7. Enjoy!

MISO CARAMEL CRACKER COOKIES

Miso Caramel Cracker Cookies image

Provided by Molly Yeh

Categories     dessert

Time 1h30m

Yield about 36

Number Of Ingredients 7

11 ounces store-bought caramels
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 1/2 tablespoons white miso paste
About 2 1/2 sleeves butter crackers, such as Ritz (about 72 crackers)
8 ounces chopped dark chocolate or dark chocolate chips
Flaky salt, such as Maldon, for topping
Sprinkles, for topping

Steps:

  • In a medium pot, combine the caramels and heavy cream. Heat over medium low, stirring, until the caramels are melted and the mixture is smooth, about 7 minutes. Stir in the miso and remove from the heat. Let cool for a few minutes, so the caramel can thicken slightly.
  • Arrange half of the crackers salty-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment and dollop on about 1 teaspoon caramel per cracker (or as much as will fit without spilling over the edges...but it's ok if it spills off a little). Top each with another cracker salty-side up. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • In a double boiler or a microwave in 30-second increments, melt the chocolate, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  • Dip the crackers halfway into the chocolate and place back on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with flaky salt and sprinkles. Let set in the refrigerator or at room temperature until the chocolate is firm, about 30 minutes.
