TGI FRIDAY'S FRIED MOZZARELLA CHEESE STICKS
Fried mozzarella cheese sticks are one of the most popular appetizers out there. You can make and enjoy these from TGI Fridays at home.

Steps:
- Cut cheese into long slices approximately 3/8 inch thick.
- Blend together the flour and cornstarch in a bowl.
- Place a cheese slice into the flour, then dip into a bowl of whole milk, and then dip into the breadcrumbs.
- Shake off excess breadcrumbs and place mozzarella stick on a wire rack.
- Repeat until all cheese sticks have been dipped once. Discard the flour.
- Place cheese sticks back into milk, then into bread crumbs for the second time, and shake off the bread crumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil to 350 for frying.
- Drop a few cheese sticks into hot oil and fry until golden brown. This should take no longer than 1 minute.
- Remove cheese sticks from the oil and place them on a wire rack.
- Repeat frying in batches with remaining breaded cheese sticks.
- Serve with your favorite marinara sauce.

Place cheese plank into the flour, then dip into a bowl of whole milk, and then dip the cheese stick into the bread crumbs. Shake off excess bread crumbs and place mozzarella stick on a wire rack. Discard the flour. Repeat until all cheese sticks have been dipped once. When all of the cheese sticks have been dipped once place back into milk, then into bread crumbs for the second time, and shake off the bread crumbs. Dip all cheese sticks into bread crumbs for the second time.
- Preheat vegetable oil to 350 for frying. Drop cheese stick into hot oil and fry until golden brown. This should take no longer than 1 minute. Remove cheese stick from oil and place on a wire rack to cool. Serve with your favorite marinara sauce.

At the request of my lovely 12 year old daughter, I am posting these, one of her favorite foods. We searched for a recipe together and ended up adapting one to suit our tastes. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Whisk eggs and milk together.
- Coat each piece of cheese with flour, then dip in egg and then roll in bread crumbs.
- Dip in egg and crumbs again.
- Freeze before frying.
- Heat oil in skillet and cook sticks for about a minute on each side, or until golden and before cheese starts to leak.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve with sauce for dipping.
