2 cups brewed coffee, chilled
1 tablespoon maple syrup
12 ounces cola, chilled
lemon slice, to garnish (optional)

Steps:

Combine coffee and maple syrup.
Slowly stir in cola.
Serve in ice-filled collins glasses.
Garnish with lemon slices if desired.

I found this recipe in one of my mom's old cookbooks years ago....before iced coffee drinks became popular.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp instant coffee granules*
1/4 c boiling water*
1/4 c honey
1 cinnamon stick (3
3/4 c cold water
1 qt milk, 2%
ice cubes
cinnamon sticks, for garnish (optional)

Steps:

1. In a pitcher or tall container, dissolve the coffee granules in the boiling water. Add the honey and mix well. Add the cinnamon stick; stir in the cold water and refrigerate until ready to use.
2. For Cooler: Fill four (12 oz) glasses with ice cubes. Add 1/4 c. of the coffee mixture and fill glass with milk. Garnish with a long cinnamon stick, if desired. * Substitute 1/4 cup extra-strong brewed coffee, instead of the instant coffee and boiling water, for a stronger coffee flavor.
