I've been making this recipe for more than 14 years and have modified it through the years. I won second place at our state fair in 1990 with this recipe. I didn't mind taking second, because my best friend finished first!

CINNAMON SWIRL BREAD
My husband's favorite. 9x5x3 inch pan makes a mondo-big loaf. I prefer to make two smaller loaves with the one recipe, but it can be a tad involved. Big or small, this really is a nice bread with a bit of a coffee-cake texture and taste. Crispy top gives it a nice touch.

Instead of wrapping up presents to give at Christmas, I customarily knead them. This citrusy cinnamon bread is a hit with anyone who has a sweet tooth. You can also make a loaf that's terrific for toasting by eliminating the glaze.
