Steps:

  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Combine sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in cinnamon chips and chocolate-hazelnut spread until melted. Fold oats into mixture.
  • Drop mixture by walnut-size spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets.

4 tablespoons cocoa powder
½ cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups quick-cooking oats

Steps:

  • Combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa in a saucepan over medium heat until they are a smooth liquid. Bring to a rolling boil; continue to boil for at least 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and stir in chocolate-hazelnut spread and vanilla extract until dissolved. Return the pot to the still-warm burner, or the lowest setting on gas stove, and add oats. Mix well.
  • Leave the pot on the warm burner while you drop cookies by heaping spoonfuls onto wax paper. Let set and serve.

½ cup butter
½ cup milk
1¾ cup granulated sugar
4 Tablespoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup Nutella
3 cups quick cooking oats

Steps:

  • In a saucepan, combine butter, milk, sugar, and cocoa powder and heat over medium heat. Bring to a rolling boil and let boil for one minute. Remove your saucepan from the heat.
  • Add Nutella and vanilla to hot mixture and stir until combined. Add oats and stir until completely incorporated.
  • Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheets lined with wax paper. Let cool (or you can eat them all warm and gooey- that's yummy too!).

If you are a Nutella fan, you'll probably like this, or, (if extremely addicted, you may prefer jar and spoon mode as I do). This recipe is from the BBC'S 'Good Food'. Very easy to make and freezes well.

6 ounces softened butter
6 ounces caster sugar or 6 ounces fine sugar
3 eggs
4 tablespoons milk
8 ounces self-rising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
6 tablespoons nutella or 6 tablespoons other brand chocolate hazelnut spread
2 ounces hazelnuts, roughly chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 185°C.
  • Grease and line the base of an 8" round cake pan.
  • Put butter, sugar, eggs, flour, baking-powder, cinnamon and milk into a bowl.
  • Beat with a wooden spoon for 2-3 minutes, or with an electric mixer for 1-2 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Tip 3/4 of the mix into the cake-pan, spread it level, then spoon the Nutella on in four blobs.
  • Top with the remaining mix, swirl a few times with a skewer, then smooth to cover the Nutella.
  • Sprinkle with the nuts.
  • Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes.
  • ,until risen, nicely browned and springs back when lightly pressed (cover with foil if it starts to brown too quickly) Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out, peel off the paper and cool on a wire rack.
  • Wrap tightly in double-thick foil to keep fresh for up to a week.

2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup nutella
2 3/4 cups quick oats
1/4-1/2 cup shredded coconut

Steps:

  • Over medium heat, cook sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine. Boil one minute.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in vanilla, salt, peanut butter, Nutella, oats, and coconut (start with the 1/4 cup coconut and add more up to 1/2 cup to desired consistancy. (I end up using around 1/3 cup).
  • Stir until well-combined.
  • Drop by teaspoon on wax paper and refrigerate tocool completely.
  • Eat!
