Christmas Reindeer Mix Food

REINDEER SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250°. Place first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. In a microwave, melt butter; stir in remaining ingredients. Drizzle over snack mixture; toss to combine. Transfer to an ungreased 15x10x1-in. pan., Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

REINDEER FOOD

Steps:

• Cover a large area of counter space with waxed paper and tape it down.
• Mix pretzels, corn cereal squares, peanuts, and candy-coated milk chocolate pieces together in a large bowl.
• Melt white chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. Pour melted white chocolate over pretzel mixture; stir to evenly coat. Quickly transfer mixture to the prepared waxed paper and spread in a thin layer; cool completely. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

REINDEER FOOD

Steps:

• Gather the ingredients.
• In a medium bowl, mix together rolled oats, red-colored sugar, and green-colored sugar until well incorporated.
• Transfer sugared oats to zip-topped plastic bags, adding more colored sugar for a festive effect.
• Tie with a ribbon and attach the following poem: Sprinkle this reindeer food outside tonight. The moonlight will make it sparkle bright. As the reindeer fly and roam This will guide them to your home.
• On Christmas Eve, hand each child a package of reindeer dust and let them untie the ribbon and sprinkle it on the lawn while reciting the poem. Then, all they have to do is wait!

REINDEER FOOD

Steps:

• Put chocolate chips in the freezer to chill
• Combine all ingredients, except for chocolate and candy melts
• Add chilled chocolate to the mix (this will keep the chocolate chips from melting when you add the candy melts)
• Melt candy melts in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Be careful not to overcook
• Pour candy melts over mix and combine quickly.
• Pour entire mixture onto a cookie sheet and allow to cool
• Eat by the handful!

REINDEER SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
• Combine cone-shaped corn snacks, cheese crackers, pretzels, corn cereal squares, mini shredded wheat squares, and pecan halves in a large bowl. Whisk butter, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, and cayenne pepper in a separate bowl. Pour butter mixture over snack mixture and toss lightly to coat. Spread mixture into a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan.
• Bake in the preheated oven until snacks are lightly toasted and liquid has been absorbed, about 1 hour; stir every 15 minutes.

MAGIC REINDEER FOOD

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients in a resealable plastic bag.
• seal the bag and shake until well- combined.
• when its dark on Christmas eve, sprinkle the magic food on your front lawn to help Santa and his reindeer find your house.
• Makes just enough for all of Santa's reindeer!

REINDEER CHOW (CHRISTMAS SNACK MIX)

Steps:

• In a microwavable bowl, combine the semisweet chocolate chips, peanut butter, caramel sauce, and butter. Microwave and stir chocolate mixture in 20-30 second intervals (checking in-between intervals to make sure it's not burnt) until completely melted when stirred together. Stir in the vanilla extract.
• Pour the cereal into a large bowl and add in the chocolate, peanut butter, and caramel mixture. Stir the cereal in the mixture until it is all evenly coated being careful not to break the cereal pieces.
• Grab a gallon-sized plastic bag (like a Ziplock bag) and add all the powdered sugar to the bag. Toss in the coated cereal and shake until all the powdered sugar adheres to the cereal. (You might need two bags to fit it all)
• Place cereal mixture into a clean large bowl and then stir in the mini pretzels, mini peanut butter cups, Christmas M&M's, salted peanuts, and white chocolate chips.

CHRISTMAS REINDEER MIX

Steps:

• Mix wheat chex, rice chex, corn chex, cheerios, peanuts, m&m, in a large bowl.
• Spread a large sheet of wax paper over counter top.
• Melt white chocolate squares in microwave.
• Pour melted chocolate over mixture.
• Mix together very fast.
• Spread evenly over wax paper and let dry, then break apart and you have a great choc snack !

MAGICAL REINDEER FOOD

Steps:

• Pour 3-4 tablespoons of oats into each plastic bag. Add a tablespoon or two of sprinkles. Iridescent sprinkles or red and green sprinkles are good choices; but use what you have on hand. (You can even use the fine sanding sugar used for sand tarts. Just beware: If you mix red and green sugar, the resulting color will be a less festive shade of brown.) Close the baggie with a piece of ribbon, and shake to mix. If using a zipper top bag, punch a small hole in the corner and thread a piece of ribbon through the hole. Make a tag by writing or printing the poem (printed below) onto a piece of paper or card stock. Add the tag to the bag for a fun gift for children to give their friends to use on Christmas Eve-or save and use themselves! After you put out the milk and cookies for Santa, head outside to sprinkle this magic reindeer food on the snow or your lawn.

REINDEER FOOD SNACK MIX

Steps:

• In an extra-large bowl, combine together the cereal, pretzels and peanuts. Prep a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt the white wafers according the instructions on the packaging. When the white wafers are melted (about a minute and a half) pour in over the mixture in the bowl. Stir the ingredients gently.Transfer your ingredients to the prepared baking sheet, but, evenly distributing everything.
• Melt your green wafers as indicated on the packaging.Then you can place the melted wafers in a piping bag when cool enough and decorate the the mix.If you do not have a piping bag however, simply use a large zip top bag and cut the corner.You can then sprinkle the toppings over the mixture.Allow this to sit for 45 minutes to set before serving.
