3-INGREDIENT CHRISTMAS SWIRL FUDGE
Fudge-making can be fussy-good thing you're a hostess with a hack. By using Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting, there's no need for a candy thermometer or constant stirring over the stove. All it takes to make this eye-catching Christmas swirl fudge is a can of our favorite frosting, a few cups of white chocolate baking chips and bright red and green gel colors. With just 10 minutes of prep, some cooling time in your fridge and three ingredients, this sweet-as-can-be recipe will deliver holiday fun. It's the easiest (and tastiest!) way to spread joy during the hectic holiday season.

CHRISTMAS FUDGE
A fantastic fudge recipe. It is easier to make than the cooked varieties that require a candy thermometer, but it sets up better than some of the other recipes I've tried that use marshmallows or marshmallow cream. The best of both worlds!! I rich, dense fudge that's fairly simple to prepare. NOTE: I prefer to use dark chocolate chips for a richer, fudgier taste. See the bottom of the instructions for variations.

CHRISTMAS FUDGE
This recipe has been in our family for many years. This fudge is not sugary-sweet. It has a rich, chocolate, creamy taste that melts in your mouth. This is also good to make for that very special someone for Valentines Day.

Steps:
- Slowly melt chocolate in a double boiler; simmer over low heat.
- When the chocolate has completely melted, whip the whipping cream on the highest speed of your hand-held mixer, (for about 3 minutes) or until it has thickened.
- Stir the whipped cream into the melted chocolate, until it has completely dissolved (continuously stirring for about 3 minutes). The fudge will become dark in color and glossy.
- Stir in the chopped walnuts, then pour into a buttered 13x9x2-inch pan.
- Refrigerate until slightly firm.
- With a buttered knife, cut into 48 square pieces.
- Refrigerate again, until fudge has firmed up completely.
- *Note: Ambrosia Real Milk Chocolate is a good quality brand of chocolate that I use to make this fudge.
- One other thing I wanted to mention. When I made this fudge, I stated to use a double boiler, but years ago I didn't own one, so I used an oversized waterless cookware pot (to heat/simmer the water in). I melted the chocolate in a large size aluminum bowl, which I placed that over the large pot of simmering 'hot' water. Also, you can place this fudge in the freezer, as it does freeze well.

- Line a 20 x 20cm cake tin with baking parchment. Tip the sugar, cream, butter and glucose syrup into a large pan. Warm over a low heat to dissolve the sugar and melt the butter, stirring occasionally.
- When the sugar has dissolved, put a sugar thermometer in the mixture, making sure the end is completely covered by the syrup – if it’s not, transfer the mixture to a smaller pan that’s still large enough for the syrup to bubble. Turn up the heat to medium-high and bring the syrup to the boil, stirring occasionally to stop it catching. When the thermometer reaches 116C – or ‘soft ball’ stage, remove the pan from the heat.
- Leave the mixture to stand, undisturbed, for 5 mins, until the temperature drops to 110C, then stir in the vanilla bean paste, mixed spice, mixed dried fruit and peel, the orange zest and a good pinch of salt.
- Remove the thermometer, then vigorously beat the mixture with a wooden spoon, checking the temperature every minute or so until it drops again to about 60C. By this time, the mixture will be really thick and have lost its glossy shine. Take the thermometer out and continue beating the mixture for a few more minutes. This part is crucial as it helps create small sugar crystals that give the fudge its smooth, creamy texture.

- Sea Salt Nutella Fudge. The toughest step of this recipe is waiting for the fudge to chill before digging in.
- Chocolate Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge. It’s vegan, gluten-free and only needs four ingredients to come together.
- Andes Mint Chocolate Chip Fudge. Might we suggest topping them off with crushed candy canes for a festive finishing touch?
- Vanilla Fudge. Don’t worry if the color of the fudge is on the tan side—it likely means the butter, sugar and milk caramelized, which is definitely not a bad thing.
- Easy Salted Oat Fudge. It’s like a hybrid of no-bake cookies and fudge, thanks to ground oat flour.
- No-Bake Salted Tahini Cookie Dough Fudge. Instead of condensed milk, this dairy-free gem uses coconut oil, maple syrup and tahini.
- Funfetti Golden Oreo Fudge. Put a tin of this on the kid’s table and watch it disappear in 30 seconds flat.
- Healthy Peanut Butter Fudge. You only need four ingredients to make it but go ahead and treat yourself to two more for toppings (coconut flakes and crushed peanuts FTW).

- Rocky Road Fudge. Rocky road is one of my favorite ice cream flavors, but it's really gone beyond just ice cream throughout the years. Cookies, brownies, pies, bars, you name it.
- Candy Cane Fudge. If you're more of a white chocolate fan, then this candy cane fudge is perfect for you! Vanilla chips, sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, crushed candy canes and a tiny bit of red food coloring are combined to make this fudge, which takes only minutes to prepare.
- Gingerbread Fudge. Gingerbread is such a popular flavor, especially during Christmas time. This recipe has all the spices found in gingerbread cookies and looks so festive with green, red and white sprinkles on top.
- Turtle Fudge. This recipe, a twist on those classic turtle candies, features two semisweet chocolate, milk chocolate, pecans and gooey caramel. For the first layer, half of the fudge mixture is poured into a baking pan.
- Red Velvet Swirl Fudge. This red velvet fudge is obviously very fitting for the holiday season due to its pretty red color. It has both white and milk chocolates, as well as a little cocoa powder.
- Peppermint Mocha Fudge. Peppermint, chocolate, and espresso: you really can't go wrong with those flavors. You'll love this (and the caffeine) for the holidays!
- Salted Dark Chocolate Pretzel Fudge. This fudge is the best of both worlds because it is both sweet and salty. It's one of those combinations that's a little unusual, but you really can't get enough of.
- Nutella Fudge. Nutella is a sweet and addictive chocolate hazelnut spread that has a huge fan club of its own. Nutella is the perfect snack to eat straight from the jar or to include in desserts, on fruit, pretzels and really anything.
- Eggnog Fudge. I have to say, I'm not the biggest fan of eggnog but I know that it's a classic holiday drink that so many folks will be enjoying this season.
- Maple Walnut Fudge. This creamy fudge is sweet and full of nutty, maple flavor. For extra sweetness and crunch, this recipe suggests adding in some toffee bits.
