CHOCOLATE YOGURT

Chocolate Yogurt image

I LOVE the flavor of whipped chocolate yogurt. This variation is easy to throw together for lunches. My son likes to stir-in a spoon of cherry pie filling. fyi- The texture is not similar to the whipped commercial product. I like to use Nancy's low-fat Yogurt. Really any natural, plain yogurt would work.

MELT CHOCOLATE | RICARDO
Chocolate chips are not good for coating sweets because they don’t contain enough cocoa butter. It’s the cocoa butter that lets chocolate liquefy when melted. Next time, use semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate or, if you really prefer milk chocolate, choose a European brand chocolate bar, as they tend to contain more cocoa butter than American brands.
