1 cup semi sweet chocolate, melted
white chocolate, for dipping
sprinkles, optional

Steps:

  • Remove the tops from strawberries.
  • Scope out the inside of the strawberry.
  • Put melted chocolate in piping bag.
  • Fill strawberry with melted chocolate.
  • Place strawberry top back on. Chill for 5 minutes.
  • Dip the strawberries in white chocolate.
  • Add sprinkles immediately.
  • Enjoy!

Tasty Chocolate Stuffed Strawberries make a special treat to give or a wonderfully elegant appetizer or dessert.

12 large strawberries
1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
3.5 ounce dark chocolate (I used Ghirardelli's Intense Dark 60% Cacao)

Steps:

  • Chop chocolate into small pieces and place in a bowl.
  • In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat, pour over the chocolate chips and let sit for a few minutes.
  • Slowly stir the cream and chocolate together until it's completely blended and glossy.
  • Place in the fridge, stirring every 5 minutes or so, until the ganache has thickened and cooled completely.
  • While the chocolate is cooling, cut the very tip off so that the strawberries will stand up. Then, hull the strawberries.
  • Add the chocolate to a piping bag or ziptop bag and pipe into the hulled strawberries. You can also use a teaspoon to dip and fill if you don't want to use a bag.
  • Store in the refrigerator if not serving immediately. You can store in the refrigerator up to 12 hours before serving.

This is a fantastic recipe and sooo easy! I don't remember where I got the recipe but it's always a big hit and is perfect for any get together. I hope you like them.

2 lbs strawberries
8 ounces cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) package chocolate, candy melts (I use "Dolci frutta" which is found in the produce dept)
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup chocolate syrup (I use hershey's)

Steps:

  • wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries.
  • using a small melon baller (or a paring knife) scoop out the top of the strawberry removing stem and some of the center.
  • melt chocolate in microwave at medium heat. use small intervals like 30 - 45 seconds. mix between each interval, do not overheat.
  • Dip strawberries in chocolate and place on wax paper to dry.
  • While they are drying mix the cream cheese, sugar and syrup using an electric mixer.
  • you can either scoop the filling into the strawberries with the melon baller or pipe it in using a pastry bag for a nicer presentation.

15-20 strawberries (the larger the better)
1 bag of Milk Chocolate chips (I use the 11.5 oz Guittard milk chocolate chips)

Steps:

  • Directions 1. Cut the stems off your clean strawberries and carefully scoop out the top of the berry. The deeper you scoop the more chocolate it will hold. I used large strawberries so I scooped about an inch down. 2. Pour the entire bag of chocolate chips in a glass bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 second intervals. Make sure to take your bowl out every 30 seconds to stir the chips. Continue until all chips are melted. 3. Place your strawberries in an egg carton so they sit straight up. You could also use little Dixie cups. Now you can either spoon your melted chocolate into the berries or use a funnel or piping bag. I used a little baby spoon and it worked fine. Your choice. 4. Place in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes until they harden a bit. Enjoy! Note: As someone noted there is a small chance that salmonella could be found in an empty egg carton so if this concerns you it is safer to use an ice cube tray or mini muffin tin to hold the berries while the chocolate hardens.   • Cut the tops off of the strawberries and stand upright on the cut side. Make a cut 3/4 of the way down from the tip of the strawberry towards the bottom.
