- Once the chocolate is melted, dip a pretzel rod into it to coat about ½ to ¾ of the pretzel in chocolate.
- Lay the pretzel on the parchment paper and use your fingers to immediately sprinkle the holiday sprinkles on all sides of the pretzels. Keep on the parchment paper to harden for about 10 minutes.

Steps:
- Prepare two large baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
- Prepare homemade caramel (or melt store-bought caramels). Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Allow homemade caramel to cool for about 15 minutes before dipping.
- Dip Pretzel Rods in caramel. I use a spoon to scoop the sauce onto the pretzels and turn them as I go. Allow excess sauce to drip off and place the dipped pretzels on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- After the caramel sets and cools some of it may pool at the base of the pretzel, causing the bottom to be flat. Use your hands to mold the caramel back around the rod (or just roll the rod gently on the parchment paper to smooth it around).
- Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, on half power, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate into a tall glass. Dip the caramel-coated pretzels in melted chocolate. You can use a spoon or spatula to help smooth the chocolate up and around if you need to.
- Lay the dipped pretzels on a parchment lined sheet. While the chocolate is warm, you can sprinkle on a few light weight toppings or sprinkles, if desired.
- Allow the chocolate to set up before eating or removing from parchment.

- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment. Sprinkle your pretzels on top of the parchment. Pro tip: if you're adding any toppings, make sure you chop them now.
- Add your chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave at 50% less power for 30 seconds. Allow it to rest for 30 seconds, and then microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Repeat this cycle one more time or until the chocolate is mostly melted. Stir gently with a spoon until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate over the pretzels, moving it around the pan to try to get as much coverage as possible. Use a silicone spatula and bring any wayward pretzels towards the chocolate. Pro tip: if you're adding any toppings, do so now.
- Allow the bark to fully cool. If your kitchen is warm, you can place the pan in the fridge or freezer for 20-60 minutes.

- Place the chopped chocolate into a small heat proof bowl. Heat in the microwave on high for 30 seconds, remove, and stir very well. Heat in 10 second increments, stirring after each heating, until chocolate is completely smooth. You may also place the chocolate in a small saucepan and melt over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
- Place a pretzel into the chocolate and, using a fork, cover the pretzel completely in chocolate. Lift pretzel out of the bowl and gently tap the fork on the lip of the bowl to remove excess chocolate. Place the pretzel on the prepared baking sheet and cover with sprinkles (or other decoration, if using). If you'd like to decorate the pretzel with drizzled chocolate, wait until pretzels are completely set before melting new chocolate and decorating.
- When you are finished dipping your pretzels or you have filled a baking sheet, refrigerate pretzels for about 10 minutes to allow chocolate to harden. Remove from refrigerator and allow to continue setting at room temperature. Once chocolate is completely set, cover pretzels tightly and store at room temperature up to 2 weeks.

- Peanut Butter Chocolate Pretzels. Chocolate and pretzels are one of my favorite food combinations. The rich, creamy flavors of the chocolate, along with the crunchy, salty deliciousness of the pretzels, just keeps me reaching for more.
- Strawberry Pretzel Salad Recipe. It’s always so funny to me to see these sweet “salad” recipes pop up. I don’t know why they use the term, but this is the only kind of salad I want from now on.
- Kitchen Sink Cookies. I’ve never made it out of Panera without one of these babies, and I don’t think I ever will. They’re soft, chewy, chocolatey, and wonderfully salty all at once.
- Salted Chocolate and Caramel Pretzel Bars. If you’re looking for something sweet, salty, crunchy, creamy, and, best of all, no-bake, then this one’s for you!
- M&M Kissed Pretzels. These little pretzel bites look terrific, and I often give them out over the holidays in my cookie boxes. They take around 15 minutes, start to finish, and the most you’ll need to do is line everything up on a baking tray.
- Salted Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookies. Between the soft and chewy texture, the caramel and chocolate, and the crunchy pretzels, these are downright addictive.
- Christmas Reindeer Crack. Reindeer crack is kind of a twist on the classic muddy buddy recipe. Only this version uses pretzels and M&Ms to ensure it’s festive and bright.
- Pineapple Pretzel Salad. Pineapple pretzel salad is a sunny take on the more classic strawberry pretzel salad. The two are similar, but this has a tropical flavor, which I just love.
- Pretzel Turtles. These are deliciously similar to the M&M kissed pretzels. Much like the recipe above, you’ll start by adding pretzels to a baking tray and covering them in candy.
- Bird Nests {Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzels} This clever recipe is the perfect little treat to put out at your next Easter party. Though it would be welcome at most gatherings, you can’t deny how effective the nest looks with the mini-eggs on top.

- Put the chocolate and butter together in a microwave safe container. We used a deep measuring cup to dip the ends in. Alternatively, use a shallow bowl to roll the ends of your pretzels in and you’ll get more chocolate on further up. Microwave for 30 second intervals until the butter has melted and the chocolate is soft. Stir.
- Have a bowl underneath your sprinkles so you can catch excess; consider a bowl for each type of sprinkles so you can pour those that spill back into the jar and re-use.
- Arrange a baking sheet lined with parchment next to your sprinkles, pretzels and chocolate. Make an assembly line.
- Dip a pretzel into the chocolate, let excess drip off then wipe one side against the bowl so it’s flat.
