CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A MUG

Steps:

• In a bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, sugar, cocoa, oil, salt and vanilla until fully combined. Pour into a 12-ounce mug and top with the chocolate chips.
• Microwave on high power for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, depending on how gooey you like your cake. Carefully remove from the microwave and let cool slightly. Top with whipped cream and serve.

PEANUT BUTTER MUG CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE ICING AND POTATO CHIPS

Steps:

• Make the mug cake: Whisk the peanut butter, granulated sugar, flour, baking powder and egg together in a medium bowl and then transfer to a mug. Microwave on high until puffed and set, 60 to 70 seconds. Let cool for 5 minutes.
• Meanwhile, make the frosting: Mix the powdered sugar and chocolate syrup together until smooth.
• Spoon the frosting over the cake. Crush a few potato chips over the top and insert a few whole chips into the frosting. Eat immediately.

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER MUG CAKE

Steps:

• In a small bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder until thoroughly, completely combined with no streaks of flour or cocoa powder remaining. Blend in milk, butter, and vanilla until batter is smooth. Pour batter into a 14-ounce (or larger) microwave-safe mug with straight sides.
• Combine peanut butter and chocolate chips and dollop into the center of the mug, gently pressing down until even with the top of the batter. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER MUG CAKE

Steps:

• Spray a 12-ounce coffee mug with cooking spray. Combine milk and oil in mug. Add flour, sugar, oats, baking powder and salt; stir to combine. Add chocolate chips; dollop center with peanut butter., Microwave on high until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 2-1/2 minutes. Serve immediately.

PEANUT BUTTER MUG CAKE

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients in an oversized coffee mug. Whisk well with a small whisk until smooth.
• Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes and then take it out to check to see if it is done. If not, continue to microwave in thirty second intervals. Mine was done at 2 minutes. You don't want to overcook it or it will become rubbery.
• You can also make this into two smaller-sized mugs. You can mix the batter all in one mug and then pour half into another mug. Make sure you cook each one individually.

Steps:

• In a microwave-safe mug or small bowl, stir together the peanut butter and oil until smooth. Add the granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and baking powder then stir until well combined.
• Stir in the milk and optional vanilla extract until the batter is smooth. Add optional chocolate chips if desired.
• Microwave on high for 1 minute 30 seconds or until the mug cake is set. The top may still be shiny, but should be springy to the touch. Heat in additional 10-15 second increments if needed.
• Leave in the microwave for 1-2 minutes to let the cake set and cool slightly before serving.
