Steps:
- Melt chocolate in double boiler over medium heat on stove top. Using tongs, or your fingers, quickly dip pretzels in chocolate allowing the excess to run off. Place dipped pretzels on waxed paper lined cookie sheets. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, colored sugars or other toppings. Allow to harden. You may need to refrigerate for a while to help this along. Once hardened, remove from sheets and store in a cool location, with waxed paper between layers.
- Tip: Package pretzels in clear cellophane bags or in vase for festive gift giving!

Steps:
- Melt 12 ounces finely chopped semisweet chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring (do not let the bowl touch the water). Remove the bowl from the pan and let the chocolate cool slightly, then toss with 3 cups lightly crushed mini pretzel twists and 1 cup rice cereal squares (such as Chex). With an oiled spoon, scoop heaping tablespoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until set, at least 30 minutes.
SOFT PRETZELS WITH CHOCOLATE-HAZELNUT DIP
Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine the sugar and salt with 1 cup warm water. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes. Add 3 tablespoons of the melted butter; stir to combine. Add the flour to the bowl and stir with a wooden spoon until a dough starts to come together.
- Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured work surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a clean, lightly oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let stand in a warm, draft-free place until the dough has almost doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 475 degrees F. Position racks in the upper and lower thirds of the oven. Lightly oil two baking sheets.
- Cut the dough into 8 pieces. Roll each piece out into a 20-inch long rope and twist into a pretzel shape.
- Fill a large, wide pot with about 3 inches of water. Add the baking soda and bring to a brisk simmer over medium-high heat. Boil the pretzels, two at a time, until puffed and shiny, about 2 minutes; transfer to the oiled baking sheets as you go.
- Brush the boiled pretzels with the remaining 2 tablespoons butter and then sprinkle salt as desired. Bake until deeply browned, 12 to 15 minutes, switching the positions of the baking sheets halfway through.
- While the pretzels are baking, warm the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the chocolate-hazelnut spread and whisk until combined.
- Serve the pretzels warm with the chocolate-hazelnut dipping sauce.

TOTALLY RANDOM CHOCOLATE DIPPED PRETZELS
I don't quite remember were I got this one but I use to make them a lot and there great for a short notice party or sleep over! There also fun to make and you can add almost anything after dipping it in chocolate! You can use a microwave or a special chocolate melter to melt your chocolate, just make sure if your using a microwave to keep an eye on it ;) You also may need more chocolate depending on how many you want to make. If you want to make then mint chocolate dipped pretzels just add about a teaspoon of mint extract to the melted chocolate =)
