SAVORY CRESCENT CHICKEN SQUARES
Tender crescents wrap around a creamy chicken filling in a hot sandwich that took top honors in the Pillsbury Bake-Off® Contest.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, mix cream cheese and 1 tablespoon softened butter; beat until smooth. Add chicken, chives, salt, pepper, milk and pimientos; mix well.
- Separate or cut dough into 4 rectangles. If using crescent dough, firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to center of chicken mixture; twist firmly. Pinch edges to seal. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops of sandwiches with 1 tablespoon melted butter; sprinkle with crushed croutons.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper until smooth. Stir in chicken, milk, onion and pimientos. CREAMY GARLIC CHICKEN
Perfect comfort food, this Creamy Garlic Chicken is great paired with simple roasted veggies like broccoli or asparagus.

- Preheat a large, 12″ skillet over medium high heat. Meanwhile dredge the 4 pieces of chicken in the cassava flour.
- When the pan is hot, add the tablespoon of olive oil and 2 of the chicken breasts. Cook to brown each side, 2-3 minutes per side, then remove them from the pan and set them aside. Repeat with the remaining 2 chicken breasts.
- Lower the heat to medium low, then add the ghee or additional olive oil to the pan along with the halved garlic cloves. Cook for 2-3 minutes stirring as the garlic cloves begin to turn light brown.
- Then add the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, chicken stock, and coconut milk to the pan. Bring the mixture to a boil, scraping up the browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Reduce the heat to maintain a light simmer, and cook until the garlic cloves are completely softened, 15-20 minutes. The sauce will reduce by about 1/2.
- When the garlic is done, add the chicken breasts back to the pan and simmer until they're done in the center, 6-8 minutes, turning once in the middle of the cooking time.
- Garnish with a sprinkling of fresh parsley and serve.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Blend butter with cream cheese Add milk and onion. Stir in chicken. Add salt and pepper.
- Separate dinner rolls into four rectangles, pressing perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup mixture into center of each rectangle. Fold over two opposite sides to meet in the middle forming a square. Press the other two edges together to seal.
- Brush top with melted butter and dip into bread crumbs. Place on non stick cookie sheet crumb side up.

- Heat half of the oil in a large frying pan over a high heat.
- Fry the chicken pieces until browned on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Lower the heat and add the remainder of the oil to the frying pan.
- Gently fry the onion and green chillies until softened and translucent, which would take about 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken to the onions, along with the tamarind paste, garam masala and chaat masala.
- Stir fry for another 3 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

YUMMY! Cheesy, easy and wonderful... a kid pleaser! I always use a bit more cheese than it calls for... a mixture of mozzarella and cheddar. I fix it the night before one of those busy days and pop in the oven when I get home... you can also cook immediately. Sooooooooo good.

- Put half of bread cubes in an 8 x 12" greased pan.
- Combine chicken, onion, mushroom soup, mayo and seasonings.
- Spoon over bread cubes.
- Top with remaining cubes of bread.
- Beat eggs slightly and blend with milk.
- Pour over bread.
- At this point, cover and refrigerate overnight if you choose to do so. If not, continue with below instructions without refrigerating (I have made both ways and notice no difference.).
- Before baking, top with undiluted cream of chicken soup.
- Bake at 325 for 1 hour.
- Sprinkle cheese over top and bake 5 minutes more.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

- In a large skillet over medium high heat, add butter. Once the butter is melted, add all vegetables, salt, pepper and sage. Saute until vegetables are softened, about 10 minutes. Add shredded chicken and stir well until warmed through. Sprinkle flour on top and stir well, sauteeing until the flour smell is gone, about 5 minutes. Add chicken stock, cream and parsley. - Set oven to 450 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Whisk until well combined. Add cold butter and work into the flour using a pastry blender or two butter knives. Blend with pastry blender until butter is like small pebbles. Add buttermilk and mix well with a wooden spoon.
- On your work surface, sprinkle a small amount of flour. Dump the dough out onto the flour and top with a little more flour. Gently pat the dough down flat and then fold in half and pat down again. Do one more fold over and then pat the dough out to a 1 inch-thick circle. Use more flour to keep the dough from sticking if needed.
- Cut out circles with a biscuit cutter or small drinking glass and place in cast iron skillet. Make sure the sides of the biscuits are touching. Continue reforming the dough into a 1 inch-thick circle until all the dough is used up. There should be approximately 8 biscuits. Bake biscuits for 10-12 minutes, until the tops are lightly browned.
