2 cups uncooked white rice
2 cubes chicken bouillon

Steps:

  • In a saucepan bring water to a boil. Add rice and bouillon and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Mix well before serving.

1 pound parboiled rice
1 can tomato puree-400 grams
1 onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic
4 teaspoons olive oil
6 small or 3 large red bell peppers, seeded and sliced
1 bunch thyme, leaves picked
1 teaspoon white pepper
8 chicken bouillon cubes (recommended: Maggi or Goya)

Steps:

  • With blender, blend tomatoes, onions, red pepper, and garlic until smooth. Add bouillon cubes, thyme and white pepper.
  • Add olive oil to the blended paste, and set the mixture aside. Add 4 cups of water into a pot.
  • Wash the rice in hot water until the water is clear. Drain through a fine sieve.
  • Pour the rice and blended mixture into the pot of water and stir with wooden spoon. Set the stove to medium heat and place pot on stove, then let it cook for 45 minutes while stirring every 15 minutes.

  • Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Fluff rice and salt to taste, if desired.

1 skin-on, boneless chicken thigh
1 clove garlic, minced
1 piece ginger, 1 in (2 cm) minced
1 scallion
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
½ teaspoon salt
10 oz rice
1 ½ cups water
1 tablespoon scallion, minced
½ teaspoon garlic, grated
½ teaspoon ginger, grated
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon miso
red chili flake, sliced
fresh cilantro
tomato, sliced
lemon, sliced

Steps:

  • Put washed rice, garlic, ginger, salt, chicken bouillon, and water in a rice cooker pot and mix well.
  • Add chicken thigh to the pot skin-side down, and place the scallion over the chicken.
  • Cook for 30 minutes, or until the rice and chicken are cooked through.
  • For sauce, combine scallion, white sugar, sesame oil, grated garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, miso, and red chili flakes. Mix well.
  • When the rice is ready, remove scallion and chicken. Stir the rice well to fluff it up and slice the chicken.
  • Press cooked rice into a bowl to make a dome shape. Then turn the bowl upside down onto the serving plate.
  • Serve the sliced chicken with cilantro, tomatoes, and lemon, and pour the sauce over to your preference.
  • Enjoy!

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
10 bone-in chicken thighs (about 3-3/4 pounds)
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, undrained
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
2 cups boiling water
Minced fresh parsley, optional

Steps:

  • In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken thighs, one at a time, and shake to coat. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown chicken in oil. , Place rice in an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with onion and garlic; top with mushrooms. Dissolve bouillon in boiling water; pour over all. Place chicken on top. , Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until a thermometer reads 180° and rice is tender. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.

1 (6 ounce) can chicken
1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup butter

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients together in rice cooker.
  • Set to "cook".
  • Dish is done when cooker goes off.

4 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon granules

Steps:

  • Melt margarine in a medium skillet over medium heat. Stir in bouillon granules; when melted together, add chicken and brown, turning often. If necessary, add a little more margarine and bouillon. Cook for about 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
