Studded with melty cheese and herbs, this garlic bread couldn't be easier! I like to buy a crusty round loaf of bread right from the bakery section of my grocery store. Be careful not to cut all the way through the loaf-you don't want the cheese to ooze out the bottom and stick to the pan.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 small round loaf sourdough bread (7 ounces)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley, plus for more garnish
1 teaspoon onion powder
Pinch kosher salt
5 cloves garlic, minced
4 ounces mozzarella, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Score the bread with 2-inch-deep cuts with a serrated knife into a 1-inch diamond pattern without slicing all the way through. Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the parsley, onion powder, salt and garlic. Brush the butter mixture all over the bread and into the cut diamonds using a pastry brush. Insert the cheese cubes in the crevices of the bread.
  • Cover the bread with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, 8 to 10 more minutes. Sprinkle with more fresh parsley. Serve hot!

Stuffed with mozzarella cheese at every slice, this Cheesy Stuffed Garlic Bread is a delicious appetizer or dinner side dish!

1 loaf Bread ((like French, Italian or Sourdough))
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp parsley (chopped)
8 ounces mozzarella cheese (sliced)
1/3 cup parmesan cheese (shredded or grated)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375° F. and line a baking sheet with a slice of aluminum foil.
  • Using a serrated knife, slice the bread loaf into even slices. Don't cut the bread loaf all the way through, however.
  • In a small bowl, make the garlic butter by stirring together the softened butter, extra virgin olive oil, garlic powder and chopped parsley until spreadable.
  • Using a knife, spread garlic butter down into each slice on the bread loaf, reserving about half for later.
  • Stuff a slice of mozzarella cheese down into each sliced opening of the bread loaf.
  • Spread remaining garlic butter all over the top of the bread loaf.
  • Sprinkle the top with parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and enjoy!

1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
3 cans (6 ounces each) tomato paste
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 to 4 teaspoons dried oregano
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, cook beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomato paste, water, brown sugar, oregano, vinegar and garlic powder., In a greased 13x9-in. baking dish, spread 1 cup of meat sauce. Layer with three noodles, 1 cup meat sauce and mozzarella cheese; three noodles, 1 cup meat sauce and Monterey Jack cheese; three noodles, 1 cup meat sauce, provolone cheese and the Parmesan cheese., Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.

1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped celery
2 garlic cloves, minced
14 slices French bread (1/2 inch thick)
4 large tomatoes, sliced 1/2 inch thick
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons olive oil, divided
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups whole milk
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • In a skillet, cook beef, onion, celery and garlic over medium heat until beef is no longer pink; drain and set aside. Toast bread; line the bottom of an ungreased 13x9-in. baking dish with 10 slices. Top with half of the meat mixture and half of the tomatoes. , Combine seasonings; sprinkle half over tomatoes. Drizzle with 1 teaspoon oil. Crumble remaining bread over top. Repeat layers of meat, tomatoes, seasonings and oil. , In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter; stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk; bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in Parmesan. Pour over casserole. Top with mozzarella. ×1/4 cup melted butter
×1 teaspoon minced garlic (more to taste)
×1 tablespoon dried oregano
×1/2 of a brick mozzarella cheese, or 4-6 thick slices
×ricotta cheese
×2 cooked lasagna noodles
×about 1-2 cups marinara sauce, with meat (optional)

Steps:

  • Directions: 1 Melt butter and add garlic and oregano to butter. Mix thoroughly. 2 Roll out dough on greased cookie sheet. 3 Brush dough with butter and garlic mixture liberally. 4 Lay out slices of mozzarella cheese, down the middle of the dough, lengthwise. 5 Cover slices of cheese with 1 cooked lasagna noodle. 6 Cover noodle with a few tablespoons of marinara sauce and then cover with the other cooked lasagna noodle. 7 Top that noodle layer with a thick layer of ricotta cheese. 8 Fold over the edges of the dough to cover and wrap completely.
