MEATBALL AND GNOCCHI BAKE
Delicious meatballs baked with gnocchi and smothered in gooey cheese.

Steps:
- Combine ingredients for meatballs in the mixing bowl and mix until all evenly combined. Roll 1/2 inch meatballs.
- Preheat a large oven-proof skillet over medium heat with a little bit of oil and cook meatballs until almost done. Take out and set aside.
- Place gnocchi on the same skillet and saute until golden on each side. Add 1/4 cup broth and let gnocchi soak it in while cooking.
- Preheat the oven to 375.
- If you will be using marinara, add it to the bowl with a little salt and mix well.
- Add meatballs and spread mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Sprinkle herb de provence and bake for 10 minutes.

- Boil one 17.5-ounce package potato gnocchi as the label directs. Reserve 1/4 cup water; drain. Simmer 1 cup heavy cream, 1 minced garlic clove, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, a few grinds of pepper and a pinch of nutmeg in an ovenproof skillet, 5 to 8 minutes. Stir in the gnocchi and thin with the cooking water. Top with 1/2 cup shredded gruyère. Broil until golden, 3 to 4 minutes. Top with chopped chives.

- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then add the gnocchi. Continue to boil for about three minutes, or until the gnocchi begin to float. Once they're all floating, drain the gnocchi in a colander.
- Mince the two cloves of garlic and add them to a large skillet with the olive oil. Sauté the garlic over medium heat for about one minute, or just until it's soft and fragrant.
