CHEESY BREADS
Of all the different appetizers I've made over the years, this one is always the first to go and it is SUPER easy to make. You can use either sweet or sour dough bread, both are tasty! I will usually assemble the Cheesy Breads the morning of the party on cookie sheets and cover with plastic wrap and keep in the fridge. When everyone has arrived at the party I just pop them in the oven and serve them piping hot! If you don't want the bread to be crunchy, broil them instead of baking them. I've tried them both ways and crunchy is better!

CHEESY BREAD WITH MARINARA
Soft, pillowy bread stuffed with melty mozzarella and dipped in a marinara sauce makes for an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer or side dish. Here, store-bought sauce is doctored up with a few pantry staples, including dried oregano, garlic and red-pepper flakes, but you can use homemade sauce, too. Slice the bread or let everyone tear off pieces, like they would a fresh baguette, for a more spontaneous, cheese-pull moment. To round out the spread with something green, roast broccolini, broccoli or kale on a sheet pan in the oven as the bread cooks, then dip alongside. For a crunchier exterior, unwrap the bread and cook uncovered for the last 5 minutes.

Steps:
- Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Halve the loaf lengthwise almost all the way through, leaving it attached on one side. Open it, lay it flat and brush the insides with 2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil. Tuck in the mozzarella, then sprinkle with salt and ¼ teaspoon oregano. Close, then wrap tightly with foil. Place on a sheet pan, and bake for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil, garlic, remaining ½ teaspoon oregano and red-pepper flakes over medium-high, stirring occasionally, until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the marinara sauce and adjust the heat to bring it to a gentle boil, then stir in the sherry vinegar, if using. Reduce the heat to maintain a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally, until the bread is ready, about 15 minutes more. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the sauce to a bowl or serve from the pan, and top with grated Parmesan. Slice the bread, or let everyone pull the pieces apart themselves. Keep wrapped until ready to eat.

COPYCAT DOMINO'S CHEESY BREAD
I whipped this up the other day and loved it! WARNING: I DIDN'T MEASURE THE ONE TIME THAT I MADE IT, SO ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATE GUESSES. ALSO, CONSUME AT YOUR OWN RISK - HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! LOL. The next time I make it I will try to measure and edit accordingly. Most everything is to taste, so if something is a little off it shouldn't matter all that much. Please post your reviews and let me know what you think! : )

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Slice bread in half lengthwise (though height of bread). Cut two sheets of foil about 24-inch long and place side by side letting one slightly overlap the other on a rimmed cookie sheet. Place bread, cut side up, on baking sheet.
- In a mixing bowl, using a fork, stir together butter, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Spoon and spread mixture evenly over entire surface of both bread halves (working to coat the edges too so they don't burn). Wrap foil over bread and crimp edges together and roll ends of foil up. Bake 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven, open foil and roll foil inward. Sprinkle bread evenly with cheeses. Return to oven, bake uncovered, 5 - 6 minutes longer (broil during last 1 - 2 minutes for a crisper bread and more golden cheese if desired, no need to move rack upward). Sprinkle tops evenly with parsley. Cut into slices and serve warm.
