RED LOBSTER® CHEDDAR BISCUITS
I made these with baked potato soup and loved it. Great addition! I gave them to a friend and he said they tasted just like the ones at Red Lobster®. The recipe will yield more if made into smaller biscuits. They are best served fresh out of the oven.

BISQUICK CHEESE BREAD OR BISCUITS (LIKE RED LOBSTER!)
This is such an easy bread to make just mix and bake, no need for any kneading, shape into one large or a few small loaves or drop the dough from a heaping tablespoonful onto baking sheet for biscuits --- to save time I prepare a couple of loaves early in the afternoon, shape and season them cover with plastic wrap and just keep refrigerated until ready to bake, I make this recipe with original brand Bisquick, so I cannot promise the same results if prepared with a clone --- these are at their best when served warm from the oven, so prepare them early refrigerate and pop into the oven just before dinner! :)

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9x5 loaf pan with nonstick spray. Using a pastry brush, brush the spray all over the loaf pan to make sure it is covered up the sides and in the corners. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined. Add the cheddar cheese and stir it together so the cheese is coated in the flour mixture. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the milk and egg; pour into the dry mixture and stir it until just combined (a few dry spots are okay.) Add in the melted butter and mix it in until everything is combined and there are no dry patches.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the bread is baking, make the topping: whisk together the butter, garlic powder, salt, onion powder, and dried parsley.
- Remove loaf pan from the oven and set on a wire rack to cool slightly. Immediately brush the bread with the butter topping.
- Let the bread cool for 5 minutes in the pan then take it out of the pan and cool completely on the wire rack.
- Slice and serve.

Stir until just combined. Do not over stir. Your masterpiece will turn out like a giant hockey puck. Pour and spread the mixture into the loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes. CHEESY BREAD ROLLS
Steps:
- Place the sugar and yeast in a large bowl or in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook. Pour in the warm water, stir, and allow the yeast to activate and bubble, 2 to 4 minutes. Add the milk, thyme, 2 sticks melted butter, 2 eggs and 2 teaspoons salt. Mix until combined. Slowly add the flour a little at a time and mix until a dough forms and starts to release itself from the sides of the bowl. Transfer the dough to a floured work surface and knead by hand for about 1 minute.
- Coat a large bowl with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Transfer the dough to the bowl. Place a towel over the bowl and allow to rise in a warm place until the dough has doubled in size, 1 to 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F. Coat a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil.
- Flour a work surface and, using a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a rectangle roughly 18 by 24 inches. Brush the dough with the remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter, sprinkle on the remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt, and generously sprinkle with 2 cups of the grated Cheddar. Roll up the dough starting at the long side of the rectangle until it is one large log. Cut the log into 2-inch-thick pieces. Arrange the pieces tightly packed, side-by-side in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk the remaining egg with one tablespoon of water.
- Take the rolls out of the oven. Raise the heat to 350 degrees F. Brush the rolls with the egg wash and sprinkle on the remaining 1 cup Cheddar. Bake until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and slightly brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
