CHOCOLATE CHERRY CLUSTERS

Steps:

• In medium bowl, microwave chocolate chips on high 1 minute.
• Stir.
• Microwave on high 1 more minute, until nearly melted.
• Stir until smooth.
• Quickly stir in cereal, cherries, and walnuts until well coated.
• Using a tablespoon, drop clusters on a wax paper lined baking sheet.
• Refrigerate 1 hour, until no longer sticky.

CHOCOLATE CHEERIO CLUSTERS CANDY, 1950'S RECIPE

Steps:

• 1. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together. Stir until smooth. Gently fold in cereal. Spoon individual clusters onto wax paper. Cool in refridgerator until set.

CHEERIO CLUSTERS

Steps:

• 1. In a large pan bring corn syrup and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat, add peanut butter and vanilla, mix well. Stir in cheerios, working quickly. Pat mixture into 2 buttered 13x9 inch pans. Sprinkle top with chocolate chips and let melt, spread with spatula. Cool, cut into squares. Makes 8 dozen.

NO BAKE CHEERIO BARS

Steps:

• Bring sugar and honey to a boil in a 2 quart saucepan.
• remove from heat; stir in peanut butter until blended.
• pour in cheerios and peanuts and mix until well coated.
• spread on a buttered 9x13 pan and let cool.
• cut into squares.
