APPLE N' CHEESE DELIGHT
Fresh apple slices and shredded Cheddar cheese are layered in a baking dish, sprinkled with cinnamon streusel and then baked for a delicious apple crumble.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place apples evenly in 8-inch square baking dish; sprinkle with cheese.
- Mix flour, sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over ingredients in baking dish.
- Bake 30 min. or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm.

A wonderful New England tasting appetizer. Presentation is attractive and appetizing in appearance. Some people will put on a plate and eat with a fork. Simple but brings in the raves from guests.

- Preheat oven to 400° In a 9 x 12 oven dish (or attractive oven dish equal to this size) cut bacon into small pieces and scatter to cover bottom of dish. Slice peeled cored apples and cut into thick slices. Arrange over the bacon. Top this with cheddar cheese cut into ¼" slices. Cover completely the apples. Bake in hot oven for 10 minutes watching carefully. Melt cheese and bake till golden brown. Serve with crackers or small pieces of bread.

Being a farm wife, I'm always looking for recipes that can go out to the field. I got this one a number of years ago from my friend who is also a farm wife. It's rich, creamy and filling.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add the tomatoes with juice, salt and sugar and simmer for 15 minutes.
- In a separate medium bowl, combine the sour cream, cream cheese and onion and mix well. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, place half of the egg noodles, then all of the meat mixture, then the cream mixture. Top with the remaining noodles and sprinkle with the cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes.

I have been eating this since childhood and love it! "Cooking time" includes chilling time and is estimated. I normally make this the day before I need it.

Steps:
- Drain pineapple and save the juice for topping.
- Dissolve Jello in the 2 cups of hot water.
- Fold in apricots (with juice), drained pineapple, and marshmallows. Chill until firm.
- To make the topping, combine sugar and flour in a saucepan.
- Blend in egg and butter.
- Add pineapple juice, and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Cool thoroughly.
- Fold in whipped cream, and spread topping over congealed salad.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese, and chill.

I got this off of Recipe Goldmine. This is so good and easy! It makes a great brunch dish and is a good way to use up leftover ham! We love this one!
