Paine’s Creek, Brewster. The picture above is of our daughter April and her husband Matt. When they come in the summer we have a tradition of one evening during their stay watching the sunset at Paine’s Creek and then having fried clams and ice cream afterwards at Kate’s.
First Encounter Beach, Eastham. Site of the First Encounter between Native Americans and the Pilgrims prior to their settling in Plymouth. Because of it’s central location in Eastham, First Encounter usually has a panoramic view of Cape Cod Bay.
Ellis Landing, Brewster. Our friends have a beautiful beach home on Ellis Landing. Harrison is not allowed on the beach in the summer months, but every so often we take him to our friend’s home and allow him a sunset swim.
Crosby Landing Beach- Brewster. Crosby beach is a favorite choice for our Cape Cod Elopement couples and Byron has captured so many beautiful moments on this beach.
Herring Cove, P’Town. During the winter months it’s always fun to head up to P’town and park at Herring Cove to watch a winter sunset. It also might be a perfect opportunity later for star gazing.
Rock Harbor, Orleans. We visit Rock Harbor several times in the year and love the sunsets during the quiet season. The picture above was taken last year on October and the views that evening were magnificent!
Great Island, Wellfleet. Every once in a while you witness a sunset on Cape Cod that cascades brilliant orange and yellow hues across the bay. We loved this picture so much that we used it for our Captain Freeman Inn brochure.
