Candy Peanut Butter Worms Food

PEANUT BUTTER CANDY

Steps:

• Butter an 8x8x2 inch square pan. Set aside.
• In a 2 quart saucepan with a candy thermometer inserted, cook sugar, light corn syrup, milk, and salt, until thermometer reads 234 degrees F (112 degrees C). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and peanut butter.
• Put peanut butter mixture in a large mixing bowl and beat until mixture begins to thicken. Pour into prepared pan. Chill until completely cooled. Cut into squares.

CANDY PEANUT BUTTER WORMS

Steps:

• Put peanut butter and honey in a food processor or mixer and combine well.
• Add the dry milk powder and the powdered sugar and mix again until smooth and well blended.
• Take out and make into 1 long log roll and divide into about 20 pieces.
• Roll each piece into a thick worm and place 2 peanuts or raisins at the end to look like 2 eyes.
• Chill at least 30 minutes before serving.

PEANUT BUTTER WORMS

Steps:

• Place the peanut butter and honey in a food processor or mixer and combine well. Add the dry milk powder and the powdered sugar and mix again until smooth and well blended. Make into 1 long log and divide into 24 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a thick worm and place 2 peanuts or raisins at the end to look like 2 eyes. Chill 30 minutes before serving.
• To serve, take a small flowerpot and fill it with balled up plastic wrap. Crumble up a leftover plain chocolate cup cake and spread that on top of the plastic wrap to make it look like a pot of soil. Using your finger poke a hole in the "soil", tuck the worm tails into the soil. Repeat this with 3 or 4 worms. Place the pot on a platter and surround the pot with the remainder of the worms

PEANUT BUTTER CANDY

Steps:

• Line a 9-in. square pan with foil; butter the foil with 1/2 teaspoon butter and set aside. , In a microwave-safe bowl, melt candy coating; stir until smooth. Stir in peanut butter until melted. Transfer to prepared pan. Cool to room temperature. Cut into squares.

AFRICAN PEANUT BUTTER CANDY

Steps:

• Put peanut butter and honey in bowl and blend well.
• Add 1 cup powdered milk or wheat germ and blend into a stiff dough, adding more powdered milk or wheat germ as needed.
• Form mixture into small 1-inch balls or patties.
• Put coconut in flat pan.
• Roll balls or patties in coconut to coat.
• Place side by side on dish covered with wax paper, cover with another wax paper sheet, and refrigerate.
• Serve as a sweet snack treat.

Steps:

• Combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, nuts and butter in a medium mixing bowl.
• Mixing well, shape into 1/2-inch balls and roll in coconut.
• Chill.
