Steps:
- Line a jelly roll pan with waxed paper and spray with cooking spray.
- In a small, heavy saucepan over low heat, combine crushed candies and corn syrup; stir constantly.
- Spoon melted candy into the well of each plastic spoon. Place spoons on prepared pan with their handles on the edge of the pan to keep the spoons level. Cool at room temperature until candy hardens. Store in airtight containers.

CANDIED TEA SPOONS
This recipe makes wonderful spoons to use in stirring your cup of tea and you can use any flavor candy you choose. These make fantastic gifts and are so easy to make! I found the recipe on another site and I'm posting it here to make sure I don't lose it. The yield will depend on the size of your spoons and how much candy you fill the spoon bowls with.

Steps:
- You will need heavy weight clear plastic spoons.
- Line a cookie sheet with wax paper; spray with Pam.
- Crush the candy and combine with the corn syrup in a saucepan.
- Cook on low heat until the candy melts.
- Stir frequently.
- Spoon the candy into the spoon bowls.
- Set the spoons on the wax paper with the handles resting on the rim of the cookie sheet.
- The spoons should be level.
- Allow the candy to harden.
- Either wrap with plastic wraps for gifts or store in an airtight container.
EASY CANDIED LEMON ZEST
Candied lemon zest is beautiful on top of any dessert or chopped and added to cookies and baked goods. So pretty and tasty! Recipe makes about 1/4 cup of zest and 1/2 cup lemon syrup.

- With a sharp vegetable peeler, cut long strips of zest from lemons, being sure not to take any of the bitter white pith. Slice the strips into ⅛-inch-thick strands.
- Bring sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan; add the zest and simmer until translucent, about 20 min. Remove from heat and let cool in the syrup.
- Strain zest and use for garnish. Use the syrup in drinks or on pancakes. You can refrigerate both for 2 weeks.

HOLIDAY BANANA BREAD
This ever-popular tea bread is made Christmas-pretty with the addition of colorful candied fruits. This bread may look like a fruit cake but the taste is pure banana-delicious! I like to use candied red and green cherries and yellow candied pineapple, which I coarsely chop, in this bread for the prettiest look.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Thoroughly grease a 5 x 9-inch loaf pan.
- Sift the flour, measure, and sift with the baking powder and salt onto a piee of waxed paper. Add the nuts, raisins and candied fruits, and mix until well coated with the flour.
- Cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time until lthik and pale-lemon colored. Alternate additions of flour and fruit mixture and the mashed bananas, stirring after each addition until well blended. Begin and end with flour mixture.
- Spoon into prepared loaf pan and bake in preheated oven for about 60 minutrs or until bread pulls away from the sides of the pan.
- Let cool about 20 minutes before turning out on a rack to cool well.
