CALIFORNIA CHEESEBURGER PIE
Steps:
- 1. Heat oven to 400 degrees and grease pie plate, 10 x 1 1/2\".
- 2. Cook and stir beef and onion in 10\" skillet until beef is brown; drain.
- 3. Stir in salt and pepper; spread in plate.
- 4. Beat baking mix, milk and eggs with wire whisk or hand beater until almost smooth, about 1 minute.
- 5. Pour into plate.
- 6. Bake 25 minutes.
- 7. Top with tomatoes and cheese.
- 8. Bake until knife inserted in center comes our clean, 5 to 8 minutes.
- 9. Cool 5 minutes.
- 10. Top with lettuce and pickles.

- 1. Heat oven to 375°F. Make pie crusts as directed on box for Two-Crust Pie using 9-inch glass pie plate.
- 2. In 12-inch skillet, cook ground beef and onions over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain.
- 3. Stir in cheese, dressing and the mustard. Reduce heat to low; cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted. Spoon beef mixture into crust-lined pie plate. Arrange pickle chips over beef mixture.
- 4. Top with second crust; seal edge and flute. Sprinkle with sesame seed. Cut slits in several places in top crust. Cover crust edge with 2- to 3-inch-wide strips of foil to prevent excessive browning; remove foil during last 15 minutes of baking.
- 5. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Top pie with lettuce and tomatoes. Serve with ketchup and mustard if desired.

- Stir in mustard, milk, hot water, and uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper™ box). Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 9 to 11 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Arrange cooked French fries over mixture in skillet; top with onions. Drizzle with dressing. Sprinkle with tomato and relish.

This is a yummy two crusted pie that tastes like cheeseburger. It is packed with flavor. It is one of our favorites.

Steps:
- Make a two-crust pie and put in a pie plate.
- In a skillet saute the onion and cook till partially tender.
- Add the hamburg and cook till it is done; drain off fat.
- Add the tomato sauce, parsley, oregano, mushrooms, salt, and pepper.
- Separate one of the eggs and set the yolk aside; beat the remaining eggs and pour half of this over the bottom pie shell.
- Spoon the meat mixture into the shell.
- Arrange the cheese slices over this.
- Spread with remaining egg mixture.
- Put on the top crust and make slits.
- Loosely cover the edges with strips of foil to prevent edges from getting too brown.
- Bake 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
- Cover center of pie loosely with foil and bake 20 minutes longer.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
