Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). In large bowl, mix cake mix, oil, vanilla and eggs with spoon until dough forms.
• Refrigerate dough 15 to 30 minutes or as needed for easier handling. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. On ungreased cookie sheets, place balls about 2 inches apart.
• Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store tightly covered.

• In a large bowl, beat cake mix and butter until well combined. Beat in eggs. Shape into 1-in. balls. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely., In a large bowl, beat marshmallow creme and cream cheese until blended (do not overbeat). Spread filling on the bottoms of half of the cookies. Top with remaining cookies. Chill for 1-2 hours or until filling is set.

• Mix butter, shortening, egg yolks and vanilla. Thoroughly blend in cake mix 1/3 at a time.

• Roll dough into long smooth roll and chill until firm.
• Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
