This recipe is very easy to put together and takes practically no time to make. Try other flavors of cake mixes if you like. When I make them, I use 2 cups (total) of peanut butter chips and chocolate chips mixed together. Very easy to whip up at halftime!

1 (18 1/4 ounce) box chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 cups butterscotch chips or 2 cups peanut butter chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine cake mix, oil and eggs in a bowl and mix well.
  • Stir in chips and nuts, if using.
  • Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
  • Upon removing from oven, let the cookies stand on sheet for two minutes, then cool on racks.

Steps:

  • Combine cake mix, oil and eggs. Mix well.
  • Add in extra ingredients (1 cup total).
  • Bake at 350 F for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let cool on pan for several minutes before removing to rack to finish cooling.

One 15.25-ounce box yellow cake mix
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 cups dark chocolate chunks or discs
1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
1/2 cup cornflakes
1/2 cup crushed pretzels

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Stir together the cake mix, eggs, butter and 1/4 cup water in a large bowl with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula until smooth and combined. Stir in the chocolate and sprinkles until they are completely coated, then gently fold in the cornflakes and pretzels.
  • Scoop the dough onto the lined baking sheets using a 2-ounce ice cream scoop or a large spoon, about 2 inches apart (6 per sheet). Bake, rotating and switching the positions of the baking sheets halfway through, until the cookies start to turn golden brown on top, 8 to 10 minutes Repeat with the remaining cookie dough.
  • Let cool slightly and serve, or cool completely and store in an airtight container up to 5 days.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil together in a bowl until well mixed; fold in chocolate chips. Roll cookie dough into 12 balls and arrange on a baking sheet.

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). In large bowl, mix cake mix, oil, vanilla and eggs with spoon until dough forms.

  • At this point they are ready to bake.
  • Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake at 350° for about 5 minutes for chewy cookie.
  • It also will work well in a cookie press.
  • Also you can add chips, nuts or candy before baking (but not too good in press).

powdered sugar, for garnish

Steps:

  • Grease a cookie sheet or line oven rack with foil. Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Remove whipped cream from the fridge to soften. Using a fork, mix together
  • the whipped cream and egg, then add cake mix. The mix should be very thick. Don't over-mix it so it stays fluffy.
  • Use a spoon to scoop the mix into dollar coin-sized balls. Drop the balls into the powdered sugar to fully coat.
  • Place the cookies on the baking sheet and cook for 17-20 minutes. They will look gooey at first, but let them cool for 10-15 minutes to settle.
  • Enjoy!
