1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a medium sized skillet add the brussels sprouts, olive oil and garlic. Sauté until almost tender about 5-7 minutes. Remove the Brussels sprouts and set aside.
  • Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, and cornstarch and whisk together until smooth. Add the Parmesan Cheese, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper. Simmer until the sauce starts to thicken.
  • Add the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat in the creamy sauce until heated through.

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 400Cut bacon into small pieces.
  • Heat a large heavy-duty pan or skillet to medium-high heat. Add the bacon and cook 3-4 minutes or until crispy (skip this step if using pre-cooked bacon crumbles).
  • Remove the bacon from the pan and to the same pan, add 1 tablespoon butter, brussels sprouts, and onion. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.

750 g (1½lbs) Brussels sprouts
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves (crushed )
1 cup cream
½ cup sour cream
1 tsp lemon juice
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper (to taste )

Steps:

  • Heat a large, deep frying pan over medium heat then add the olive oil.
  • Halve the sprouts then add to the pan. Saute until golden brown and starting to char. If your sprouts are very big, you might need to add a splash of water and cover with a lid to allow them a little more time to cook.
  • Once the Brussels sprouts are fork-tender, remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add a teaspoon of oil and cook the garlic until fragrant.
  • Pour in the cream and sour cream then season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Allow to simmer until the sauce coats the back of a spoon (approximately 3-5 minutes) then add the Parmesan.
  • Transfer the sprouts back to the pan and saute for a few minutes. Adjust seasoning and serve.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400ºF.

Steps:
