CHOCOLATE FRUIT KABOBS
Quick, easy fruit kabobs, homemade with simple ingredients. Each skewer is packed with strawberries and brownies. A great Summer dessert or snack for kids.

- Thread a brownie into a wooden skewer.
- Then, thread a strawberry.
- Thread another brownie.
- Then, thread a strawberry.
- Thread the final brownie.
- Thread the final strawberry.
- Follow these steps again for the remaining 4 skewers. Enjoy!

BROWNIE AND FRUIT KABOBS

- Heat oven to 350° F (325° F for dark or nonstick pan). Line pan with foil, letting foil hang 2 inches over side of pan. Spray or grease bottom only of foil. Make brownies as directed on package. Spread in pan.
- Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side comes out almost clean. Cool completely. Lift brownie from pan; remove foil. Cut brownies into 1 1/4-inch squares.
- Line cookie sheets with waxed paper. Alternately, thread 3 brownie squares, 2 pineapple chunks, 2 strawberry halves and 2 banana slices on each skewer. Place kabobs on waxed paper.
- In small microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate chips and butter uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring once until chocolate is melted. Drizzle over kabobs.

I love cooking with my nieces and nephews, and these kabobs are a great way to get the kiddos involved in the kitchen. Everyone can choose their own combination of fruit to thread onto the kabobs, and the dip is a great make ahead recipe that will keep fresh in the refrigerator for several days.

- For the fruit kabobs: Thread the fruit onto eight 12-inch metal or wooden skewers. Chill until ready to serve.
- For the strawberry cream cheese and yogurt dip: Put the cream cheese, strawberries, yogurt and honey in a food processor and pulse until the strawberries are minced and the mixture is smooth. Serve with the kabobs.
