1 tablespoon olive oil (or 1/4 cup veggie broth or water for an oil free option)
1/4 red onion (sliced)
1 average head broccoli (chopped into florets)
1 pound green beans (trimmed and halved)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
2 tablespoons coconut aminos (or tamari)
juice from 1/2 lime
1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté 3 to 4 minutes to soften.
  • Add the green beans and broccoli. Stir. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Add the garlic, ginger, and coconut aminos. Sauté another 2 minutes, uncovered.
  • Add the lime juice and sesame seeds just before serving.

6 cups fresh broccoli florets
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons butter, divided
1 can (15-1/2 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 jar (4 ounces) diced pimientos, drained
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons dry bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Place broccoli in a saucepan; add 1 in. of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5-8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Meanwhile, in a skillet, saute the onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon butter. Spread into a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. , Drain broccoli; place over onion mixture. Top with beans and pimientos. Sprinkle with oregano, salt, pepper, cheese and bread crumbs. Melt remaining butter; pour over the top. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 20-25 minutes or until heated through.

Steps:

  • Bring a large pan of water to the boil. Add the beans and simmer for 1 min, add the broccoli and then cook for 3 mins more until tender. Drain.
  • Meanwhile, heat a large frying pan and gently toast the hazelnuts until golden brown. Add the butter, let it melt and foam for just a few mins, but don't let it burn, then season well. Tip the drained vegetables into the frying pan and toss in the butter until everything is coated.

2 broccoli bunches, stalks removed, florets separated
4 ounces fresh or frozen green beans, not thawed
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
Zest from 1 lemon
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Prepare an ice bath in a large bowl. Fill a large pot about halfway with water and bring to a boil. Lower to a gentle simmer and add the broccoli florets and green beans. Let simmer for 2 - 3 minutes, until bright green. Using a slotted spoon, immediately remove the greens and place in the prepared ice bath for 2 minutes.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-low heat until shimmering. Add the garlic and cook until just beginning to golden (do not let brown). Using a slotted spoon, transfer the greens from the ice bath to the skillet. Add the zest and sauté for 2 minutes. Off the heat and sprinkle with cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4 Tablespoons Oyster sauce
Pinch of thyme
1 Pound Green beans, blanched (cut into any inch size of your choice)
1 Pound Broccoli floret (Blanched)

seasoning cube
1 Teaspoon Cornsatrch
2 Tablespoons Vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Season the chicken with the seasoning cube, pinch of thyme, salt and pepper.
  • In a saucepan or wok, heat oil over high-heat. Add minced ginger and saute for a few seconds. Add chicken on a single layer and cook both sides until it cooks through. It takes about 4 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch.
  • Add the pepper flake to the chicken and stir.

1/4 cup Private Reserve Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 small red onion, finely chopped
6 to 8 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp Aleppo pepper
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper, more if you like spicy
1 lb frozen broccoli florets, thawed (see notes for using fresh broccoli)
1 can Cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
salt and pepper
2 cups chopped fresh parsley leaves
1 1/2 tsp Za'atar spice blend, more for later
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup toasted pine nuts

Steps:

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package until al dante. I like to add a little olive oil to the cooking water. Before you drain pasta, reserve 1 cup of the pasta cooking water for later.
  • In a large pot, heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering but not smoking. Add chopped onions and cook for 2 minutes, stirring regularly, until translucent. Add garlic, oregano, Aleppo pepper, and crushed pepper flakes. Stir till fragrant.
  • Now add thawed broccoli florets. Cook 4 minutes, tossing regularly. Add cannellini beans. And season with salt and pepper. Cook another 3 minutes or so, tossing regularly.
  • Add the cooked pasta and about 1/3 cup of the reserved cooking water into the pot. Add fresh parsley, za'atar spice, and Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine. If you need to, add a little bit more of the pasta cooking water to help combine everything. Taste and adjust seasoning. Cook until everything is very well warmed through.
  • Transfer to serving bowls. Sprinkle toasted pine nuts, more za'atar spice, and more crushed red pepper flakes on top. Enjoy!

12- ounces | 350 grams green beans (, ends trimmed)
1 cup grape or cherry tomatoes
1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese (, divided)
1/4 cup olive oil
Juice of half a lemon
1 tablespoon minced garlic
Salt and pepper (, to season)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C | 400°F. Spray a baking sheet or tray with non stick cooking oil spray.
  • Arrange the broccoli and green beans on the baking sheet.
  • Top with 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, and drizzle with the olive oil and lemon juice. Add the minced garlic and salt and pepper to suit your tastes; mix together well until all of the vegetables are evenly and completely covered in dressing.
  • Spread the veggies out in a single layer, transfer to oven and roast for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, carefully remove the sheet from the oven and add the tomatoes to the pan. Give the veggies a mix through (flipping any that are crisping or browning), and return to the oven, rotating the pan if necessary to cook evenly. Continue to roast for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the broccoli is cooked through (the florets will have a nice crisp edge).
  • Top with the remaining 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese and serve immediately!

250 g broccoli (broken into florets, you can use the stalks too)
1 clove garlic (chopped)
50 g basil leaves (roughly torn)
lemon (juiced)
50 g cashew nuts (pine nuts or sunflower seeds also work well)
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
pinch salt (optional)
500 g new potatoes (chopped into equally sized pieces)
220 g green beans (topped and tailed and cut in half)
300 g pasta

Steps:

  • Bring a large pan of water to the boil and add the 250g broccoli florets. Cook until just starting to soften - about five minutes.
  • Drain and allow to cool slightly. If you wish you can put them in a bowl filled with ice cubes now which will help to keep them vibrantly green.
  • Rinse out your saucepan and refill with clean water. Bring to the boil then cook 500g prepared new potatoes for 10 minutes. Add 220g prepared green beans and cook for a further 3-5 mins until soft. Keep an eye on the potatoes and test with a sharp knife as they'll cook quicker if you've cut them smaller. Drain and set aside.
  • While the potatoes are cooking bring a separate pan of water to the boil and cook your pasta according to the packet instructions.
  • While the pasta and potatoes are cooking put the cooked broccoli into your food processor along with 1 chopped clove of garlic, 50g torn basil leaves, the juice of a lemon, 50g cashew nuts, 3 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast and a pinch of salt.
  • Blend everything together.
  • Stir the pesto through the pasta and add the cooked green beans and new potatoes. Gently warm through and serve immediately.

1/3-1/2 cup water

Steps:

  • Pre-heat pan on low-medium heat.
  • Add 1-2 tablespoons of oil (depending on how large your head of broccoli is).
  • Add broccoli florets and green beans. Toss in oil, so that vegetables are evenly coated.
  • Toss occasionally for about five minutes, while vegetables become tender.
  • As broccoli and green beans begin to soften, add 1/3-1/2 cup of water to your pan.
