Fibre, anyone? This is very easy and good, too. Sometimes I lose track of the point and replace the raisins with chocolate chips.

CHERRY NUT LOAF
This is my grandma's recipe. I remember her making it but never paid attention to the time it took in the oven. Grandma never timed anything, it was done when it was done. My suggestion, insert a tooth pick into center when it comes out clean it is done.

CHEERY CHERRY LOAF
You can serve this loaf year-round- but its cherries give it a pretty Christmasy look. In addition to being a lovely gift, it's something I often include in meals at home. I have also entered my loaf in fairs, where it's always a winner. I'm a widow (three grown daughters) who enjoys baking and crafting.

APRICOT BANANA BREAD
Making this delightfully different twist on traditional banana bread is fun. It tastes excellent spread with cream cheese or butter. When I take this bread to bake sales, it really goes fast. I also make it in small loaf pan to give as gifts. I discovered the recipe in 1955 and have been making it since. -Betty Hull, Stoughton, Wisconsin
