Bourbon Lemonade Food
BEER-BOURBON LEMONADE
Keep this pint extra cold with lemon-beer ice cubes: Mix beer, lemonade and small lemon slices and freeze in an ice cube tray.

Steps:
- Mix 1 1/2 cups lemonade, 1 bottle beer and the lemons in a bowl. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze until firm, 3 hours.
- Mix the remaining 4 1/4 cups lemonade, 3 bottles beer and the bourbon in a pitcher.
- Fill beer mugs or tall glasses with the lemon ice cubes. Pour in the drink.
SPARKLING BOURBON LEMONADE
Steps:
- Combine 1 1/2 cups water and sugar in a small saucepan over high heat. Cook until the sugar is dissolved, about 2 minutes. Cool the simply syrup completely. This simple syrup can be made 1 week in advance and stored, covered, in the refrigerator.
- Combine the simple syrup, lemon juice and orange juice in a pitcher. Mix in the club soda. Add the lemon slices, orange slices and mint.
- Fill glasses with crushed ice. Add 1 shot bourbon to each glass and fill to the top with the sparkling lemonade. Garnish each glass with mint.
WARM BOURBON LEMONADE
Yield Makes about 4 cups, serving 4 to 6.

- In a saucepan stir together the lemon juice, the sugar, and the water and simmer the mixture, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the bourbon, divide the lemonade among heated mugs, and garnish each drink with a lemon slice.
