Forget homemade blueberry cream cheese and make it yourself in the comfort of your own home. This blueberry cream cheese recipe is made with cream cheese, fresh blueberries, fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.

8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
1.5 cups fresh blueberries
1/2 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Place softened cream cheese into a mixing bowl and beat in on medium/high with a hand mixer until completely smooth.
  • Add the fresh blueberries to the bowl and mix on medium/low until the blueberries are partially smashed.
  • Then, add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and mix until combined and when the blueberry cream cheese reaches the desired consistency.
  • Serve immediately or place in the fridge for later.

12 Blueberries
4 pieces of white bread (you could use any bread you have)
3 tablespoons whipped cream cheese

Steps:

  • Cut the crust off of all 4 pieces of bread Use a rolling pin and lightly roll out all four pieces of bread individually Spread cream cheese on all four pieces of bread Add the blueberries to one side of each piece of bread Roll the bread up starting with the side with blueberries Cut the bread with a very sharp knife Send in a bag or better yet a plastic box.

10 large flour tortillas
2 (8 ounce) boxes cream cheese
1 cup pitted black olives, finely chopped
2 tablespoons pimientos, finely chopped
1 ounce ranch dressing
2 tablespoons green jalapenos, finely chopped

Steps:

  • Soften cream cheese
  • Mix in the powdered Ranch dressing
  • Add the pimentos, black olives and the jalapeños.
  • Spread evenly over the flour tortillas using a rubber spatula.
  • Roll tightly. Cover and chill for about one hour.
  • Slice into pinwheels.

These little treats were created for RSC #11. I hope you will enjoy these light tasting appetizers, as much as we did.

Number Of Ingredients 9

4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 ounces goat cheese, fig, softened
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon honey, liquid
1/2 tablespoon key lime zest, grated
1/4 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
3/4 cup strawberry, fresh, small, thinly sliced
8 slices white bread, soft, crusts remove
8 pieces plastic wrap

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese and goat cheese together, blending well, next add the milk, honey and key lime rind.
  • Once the cheese mixture is creamy add the coarsely chopped pecans and place in the fridge to chill for 30 minutes.
  • Thinly slice the strawberries and set a side until needed.
  • Remove the crusts from the bread.
  • With a rolling pin flatten the bread slices, horizontally and vertically.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on the prepared bread slices.
  • Place a piece of plastic wrap on table and place the bread on top of the plastic wrap.
  • In the middle of the bread place two rows of of the thinly sliced strawberries.
  • Gently roll the bread into a log, cover the log with the plastic wrap, do this for each slice.
  • Chill the covered, cream cheese logs in the fridge for 3 hours or overnight, for the flavors to blend.
  • Remove the logs from fridge, take off the plastic and gently slice the logs with a bread knife.
  • You should get four slices from each bread log.
  • Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

1 (8 ounce) package crescent roll dough
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 tablespoons jellied cranberry sauce

Steps:

  • First heat oven to 375°F Unroll the dough and divide it into 2 rectangles (most store-bought doughs are perforated down the middle). Press together any other perforations to seal them. Using a butter knife, spread the cream cheese evenly over the 2 rectangles, leaving a 1/4- to 1/2-inch border on all sides, then spread the cranberry sauce over the cream cheese. Start at the short side, roll each piece of doug into a log, then cut each log into six 1-inch-wide slices.
  • Place the slices on a ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let the pinwheels sit for 5 minutes (to allow the filling to set) before removing them to wire racks. Serve warm.

1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
4 ounces blue cheese
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon cold water

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Butter an 8 or 9 inch baking dish.
  • Open the sheet of puff pastry and flatten with a rolling pin.
  • Crumble the blue cheese on the sheet, leaving a 1 inch border all around.
  • Roll up the pastry the long way.
  • Cut into 12-14, 1/2 inch thick slices.
  • Place the rounds in the baking dish.

Cream Cheese rolled inside a flour tortilla with spices and green onions. This recipe started compliments of my brothers girlfriend and I adapted it to my taste! I'm always asked to make these!

2 (8 ounce) cream cheese
1 (6 inch) package flour tortillas
2 -3 green onions
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon savory
1/2-1 teaspoon parsley
1/2-1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
salsa, to serve

Steps:

  • Soften cream cheese, slice up your green onions and add your herbs -- I taste as I go and there are many combinations but this has been my favorite. Blend well and put your tortillas on a flat surface. Spread cream cheese mixture to edges and roll up.
  • If you use the 6 inch tortillas it makes about 6 or 7 rolls depending on how thick you spread the cheese.
  • Put in the refrigerator covered with saran wrap. Let them chill back until they are firm. Then remove and cut in 3/4 inch slices. Arrange on a dish with toothpicks and have your salsa in the center to dip!
  • Delicious!

4 soft flour tortillas (for Christmas I use the green spinach ones)
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup dried cranberries (I use Craisins)
2 bunches diced green onions
1 teaspoon garlic salt

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese and garlic salt together until well blended. Spread evenly on tops of tortillas.
  • In small bowl, stir together cranberries and onions. Sprinkle evenly over cream cheese spread. Lightly press cranberry/onion mix into cream cheese.
  • Roll up tortilla. Trim off ends. And cut each tortilla into 10 even pieces using a serated knife, like you would slice bread.
