Do We Taste with Our Eyes? Blind Taste Test Experiment image

Learn how much we use our eyes in the tasting process with this blind taste test experiment from My Food and Family! Add MiO Liquid Water Enhancer in five different flavors to five different cups of water, ask a volunteer to do the blind taste test and find out for yourself!

5 bottles (1.62 fl. oz) MiO Liquid Water Enhancer (5 different flavors)
5 cups of water
Blindfold
Ballots
Paper and pen to record

Steps:

  • Prepare 5 cups of MiO (5 different flavors).
  • Ask Volunteer to guess the taste each of the 5 beverages while blind folded.
  • Record the % correct.
  • Repeat the taste test without the blind fold.
  • Record the % correct.
