BISCUIT CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE

Steps:
- Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) baking dish with cooking spray. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef, onion and bell pepper over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain.
- Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to simmering; cook uncovered 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
- Spoon half of beef mixture into baking dish. Top with cheese. Top with remaining beef mixture, spreading to edge of baking dish.
- Separate dough into 5 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 6 pieces. Arrange biscuits in single layer over hot mixture in casserole.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and biscuits in center of baking dish are cooked through on bottom.

- Preheat oven to 400°. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup and pepper. Spoon half into a greased 8-in. square baking dish; sprinkle with half of the cheese. Repeat layers., Place biscuits around edges of dish. Bake, uncovered, until the meat mixture is bubbly and biscuits are golden brown, 18-22 minutes.

BACON CHEESEBURGER BISCUIT CASSEROLE
Bacon Cheeseburger Biscuit Casserole is an easy ground beef dinner recipe loaded with diced onions, condensed cheddar cheese soup, ketchup, mustard, crumbled bacon and shredded cheese all topped with pieces of Pillsbury biscuits.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Dump ground beef into a large saute pan over medium-high heat along with a dab of margarine or butter.
- Crumble the ground beef well as it cooks.
- Once the ground beef is fully cooked, drain the grease from the pan.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the diced onions to the pan.
- Stir well and continue cooking for 2 minutes.
- Add the cheddar cheese soup, ketchup, and mustard to the pan.
- Stir until all of the ingredients are fully combined.
- Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to the pan and stir well.
- Add 1/2 cup of the bacon bits to the pan and stir well again.
- Dump the ground beef mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the ground beef.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of bacon bits on top of the cheese.
- Open the package of Pillsbury biscuits and cut each biscuit into 6 pieces.
- Sprinkle the biscuit pieces on top of the casserole, spacing them out as evenly as possible.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake the casserole until the biscuit pieces are nicely browned on top. 18-20 minutes.
- Remove the dish from the oven and let the casserole sit for a few minutes before serving.
- Enjoy!
CHEESEBURGER-BISCUIT CASSEROLE
This is a quick and tasty main dish that can be served as a meal for it's self or with a garden salad.

- In a large skillet or boiler pan brown the ground beef then drain.
- After the ground beef is browned and drained, add the the tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, bell pepper, garlic, seasonings and sugar. Cover and simmer on med-low heat for 45minutes to an hour stirring occasionally.
- During the last 15 minutes of your sauce simmering, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line your baking dish 9"x14"x3" (bottom and sides) with the canned biscuits starting with the bottom first then the sides and all touching. Press the biscuits all together to form a crust up to the top edge of your dish.
- Using a Soup Ladle or Coffee Cup evenly pour the sauce mixture into the center of the lined biscuits in your baking dish leaving a space of approximately one inch from the top edge of the biscuits. (Biscuits will rise during the baking period) Top sauce mixture with cubed cheese evenly. Place dish on cookie sheet and bake for 25-35 minutes or until the edges of crust and cheese is lightly brown.
- Remove from oven and let stand for 10-15 minutes then serve.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato and sour cream (optional).

- In large skillet, brown ground beef with onion powder, garlic powder and black pepper over high heat.
- Drain.
