DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: THE 10 BEST WARLOCK CANTRIPS, …
From thegamer.com
- Eldritch Blast. Flavored however you see fit, a crackling beam of energy flies towards your target. On a hit, they'll take 1d10 force damage. This spell doesn't deal more damage at higher levels but instead creates more beams that you make separate attack rolls for, either focused on the same target or separated amongst multiple creatures.
- Chill Touch. A ghostly, skeletal hand appears in a space next to your target to smack them around with the power of the afterlife. On a successful hit, a creature will take 1d8 necrotic damage, and they lose the ability to gain heal until the start of your next turn.
- Minor Illusion. Minor Illusion allows for creating either a sound or an image that lasts up to one minute. The target can make an investigation (intelligence) check to see the illusory effects, but the DC to beat that check scales with your spell save DC.
- True Strike. With a flick of your wrist, you concentrate all your mental effort for a single turn to find your enemy's weak spot. You have the advantage on your first attack against your target on your next turn.
- Mind Sliver. Casting this spell essentially forces a nasty migraine upon your enemy. On failed intelligence save, your target takes 1d6 psychic damage and subtracts 1d4 from their next saving throw before the end of your next turn.

- Eldritch Blast Is Iconic And Classic. Eldritch Blast is a warlock's bread and butter. They can attack with it from up to 120 feet away, and a d10 is pretty impressive damage for a cantrip.
- Lightning Lure Gets Foes Up Close. There are few things more unsatisfying than when an enemy makes a run for it. If they escape the party could lose out on important information, be stolen from, or have to deal with them again later.
- True Strike Offers Advantage. When players are at the mercy of their dice, gaining advantage on a roll can be a tremendous blessing. By casting and maintaining True Strike, warlocks can guarantee advantage on their next attack roll against a specific target.
- Toll The Dead Attacks With Flair. Toll the Dead is able to target enemies up to 60 feet away from the player and inflict necrotic damage. It even has the capacity to do more damage to opponents that are already below their maximum hit points.
- Blade Ward Provides Temporary Defense. Damage resistance is incredibly useful in combat encounters. Blade Ward lets warlocks have it available effectively on-demand.
