Steps:
- Heat broccoli mixture, mushrooms, onion, broth, marjoram, pepper and noodles to boiling in 10-inch skillet; reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles and vegetables are tender.
- Stir in chicken. Mix sour cream, water and flour; stir into chicken mixture. Heat to boiling. Boil and stir 1 minute.

HAWAIIAN BEEF AND TOMATO STEW
This low-and-slow beef stew is very easy to prepare. It's just perfect for a lazy weekend supper. Once everything is in the pot, let the oven finish up for you, and add the peas at the very end. Of course, you can brown the beef beforehand, if you wish, but there is plenty of flavor and great color without browning. Enjoy with rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes, or keep it simple with a hot, crusty bread on the side.

Steps:
- Stir red wine, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together in a small bowl until combined. Add flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring briskly after each addition to avoid lumps.
- Pour crushed tomatoes and juice into a Dutch oven. Pour in red wine mixture. Add stew meat, mushrooms, carrots, onions, and celery; stir to combine. Cover the pot and place in a cold oven.
- Set the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Cook the stew until beef is tender, about 3 hours.
- Remove from the oven and stir in thawed peas. Cover and allow to sit off the heat for 20 minutes before serving. Peas will steam and keep their bright color. Serve warm.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper baking cups.
- Stir flour, sugar, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together for cupcakes in a medium bowl. Beat 1/2 cup butter in a large bowl until creamy, about 1 minute. Add flour mixture all at once and beat until mixture is crumbly.
- Add eggs; beat about 30 seconds. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl well and beat until light in color and a bit fluffy, about 1 minute. Scrape the bowl again. Gently beat in eggnog just until combined and batter is silky and smooth. Divide batter evenly among prepared muffin cups.
- Bake in the preheated oven until tops of cupcakes spring back when touched lightly and a toothpick inserted into the centers comes out clean, 25 to 28 minutes. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely, about 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, whisk sugar and flour for frosting in a 2-quart saucepan. Whisk in eggnog and nutmeg until no lumps remain. Turn heat to medium and heat, beating with the whisk until mixture comes to a low boil and thickens enough to coat a spoon. Remove from the heat and scrape mixture into a bowl. Cool completely, about 45 minutes.
- Beat butter and salt in a large bowl with an electric mixer until creamy. Pour in the cooled eggnog mixture, beating until light and creamy. If frosting looks curdled or separated, keep beating. It will come together after a few minutes.
- Spread or pipe frosting onto the cooled cupcakes.

BEEF STROGANOFF PIE
This is from an old Pillsbury cookbook. My DH hates white food, but I like Stroganoff, so I was able to hide the stuff in the pie crust. This is an easy, excellent meal.

- Prepare pie crust according to directions for 2 crust pie using 9 inch pie pan Heat oven to 375 In lge skillet, cook ground beef, onions& garlic until beef is browned.
- drain Stir in remaining ingredients except egg white.
- Mix well Pour into crust lined pan.
- top with remaining crust Seal& flute edges Cut slits in top crust-- Brush with egg white Bake at 375 for 45 to 55 minutes Let stand 10 minutes-- cut into wedges& enjoy.
