4 cups frozen Tater Tots
1 pound ground beef
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of broccoli soup, undiluted
1/3 cup 2% milk
1 package (16 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
1 can (2.8 ounces) french-fried onions, divided
1 cup shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese, divided
1 medium tomato, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Spread Tater Tots evenly in an ungreased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, 10 minutes., Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook and crumble beef over medium heat until no longer pink, 5-7 minutes; drain. Stir in seasonings, soup, milk, broccoli, 3/4 cup onions, 1/2 cup cheese and tomato; heat through. Pour over potatoes. , Bake, covered, 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the remaining onions and cheese. Bake, uncovered, until cheese is melted, 5-10 minutes.

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons brown sugar
½ cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
½ cup rolled oats
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup raisins
¼ cup flaked coconut

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour and 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes in preheated oven. Crust should not be fully cooked.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the eggs and remaining brown sugar. Combine the oats, salt, and baking powder; stir into the egg mixture along with the vanilla. Mix in raisins and coconut, if desired. Spread the mixture evenly over the partially baked crumb layer in pan.
  • Bake 20 minutes more. Cool, and cut into squares.

1 cup soft breadcrumbs
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 cups hot mashed potatoes
1 cup grated American cheese

Steps:

  • Combine first 7 ingredients.
  • Pat meat into a square 8" baking dish.
  • Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven. Drain fat.
  • Combine 3 Cups hot mashed potatoes and 3/4 Cup grated American cheese. Spread over meat.
  • Top with 1/4 Cup grated American cheese.
  • Bake 20 minutes longer. Cut in squares.

1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 cups mashed potatoes
additional ketchup, for topping (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine meat, bread crumbs, egg, onion, catsup, salt and pepper.
  • Pour into an 8-inch square baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat.
  • Pour 3 cups of hot mashed potatoes on top.
  • Drizzle with catsup, if desired.
  • Bake for another 20 minutes.
