I try to break his feeding down into smaller bits over a longer period of time and watch him closely to make sure he swallows it all after a little bit. Mine will stuff himself with as much as he can eat, then keep eating and fill up his throat. :roll: After basking for an hour or two, he's got it all down and just looks bloated and happy. lol So, keeping food for a bit isn't an issue as long as he is swallowing and digesting it at some point.
