Steps:
- 1. Place ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine until well blended and smooth. Let batter rest 5 minutes before using. Preheat your waffle iron (setting 3). 2. When preheated, green indicator light will illuminate. Pour 1/3 cup batter onto the center of the lower grid; spread batter using a heatproof spatula to within 1/2 inch of the edge of the grid. Close lid of waffle iron - green indicator light will turn off. When green indicator light turns on again, waffle is ready. Open lid and carefully remove baked waffle. 3. Repeat with remaining batter. For best results, serve immediately. You may keep waffles warm until ready to serve in a 200° F oven. Makes 8 servings. Each serving = 5 Weight Watchers points.

BEST BASIC WAFFLE
After making these waffles, my sister said I had to post this recipe. We have tried many waffle recipes and this is our favorite. These waffles are light and crispy. I obtained the original from the manual of my first waffle iron many years ago. When my kids were little, it wasn't unusual for me to make a batch a couple times a week.

BASIC WAFFLES
Very basic waffle recipe I got from a cookbook owned by a friend. I don't remember the name of the cookbook but these are the best crispest waffles I've made... so far. You might want to put sugar or splenda in the batter as well if you want to make it sweet.
