Jun 22, 2024 Wich OS are you recommending for the BPI R4? With OpenWRT i have issues to install it, because i can’t compile the 21.0 GIT Version. And with the OpenWRT latest Snapshot for SD i dont know what Packages are missing, the preinstalled Nand Images looks a lot better but updates etc. dont work. May 23, 2025 When Banana Pi launches a new board on the market, OpenWRT doesn’t really care. Sure, the snapshots try to support the new boards, but that doesn’t affect the current major version. If there is a new major version at some point, the new boards will probably be supported. From forum.banana-pi.org

Banana is slightly heavier with a 59g operating force and has a shorter travel distance of 3.4mm (this is from the specs where you would find if the switches are good for gaming and typing). I have the Keychron K Pro Banana switches which feels and type pretty good. From reddit.com
