1 small ripe banana
1 cup Berry Flavor Nestle® Juicy Juice® All Natural 100% Juice, chilled
1 packet Classic French Vanilla Flavor Carnation® Breakfast Essentials™ Complete Nutritional Drink
½ cup vanilla or berry-flavored lowfat yogurt
½ cup fresh or frozen strawberries or other berries

Steps:

  • Place banana, Juicy Juice®, Carnation® Breakfast Essentials™ Drink, yogurt and strawberries in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. Divide shake between 2 chilled glasses and serve immediately.

This banana smoothie has to be one of my favorite recipes because it can be made in a flash, yet it's full of flavor. I think the honey adds just the right amount of sweetness. Everyone will love it...not just banana lovers! -Ro Ann Cox, Lenoir, North Carolina

Yield 3-4 servings (3-1/2 cups).

2 cups milk
2 medium ripe bananas
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Stir if necessary. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.

1 cup skim milk
3 tablespoons wheat germ
1 tablespoon strawberry jam
1/2 cup sliced strawberry
1 small very ripe banana
4 ice cubes

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a blender; blend on high speed until smooth, scraping down ingredients in blender if necessary.
  • Divide into two tall glasses and drink with a straw.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 frozen banana, cut into chunks
1 teaspoon peanut butter
3 -4 ice cubes
1/2 cup cold skim milk or 1/2 cup soymilk

Steps:

  • Puree the frozen banana in a blender, processing for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the peanut butter, process again.
  • Now add the ice cubes, and process until some of them are crushed.
  • Finally, add the milk, process until smooth and pour into a tall glass to drink.
