Steps:

  • Dehead shrimp-leave in peels.
  • Place in a baking dish.
  • Pour dressing over shrimp - it's good to cover them with dressing.
  • Place butter on top.
  • Bake at 350°F until no longer gray, 7-11 minutes.
  • Serve immediately with french bread for dipping.

3 tablespoons good olive oil
2 tablespoons dry white wine
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
4 teaspoons minced garlic (4 cloves)
1/4 cup minced shallots
3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley leaves
1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary leaves
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 extra-large egg yolk
2/3 cup panko (Japanese dried bread flakes)
Lemon wedges, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Peel, devein, and butterfly the shrimp, leaving the tails on. Place the shrimp in a mixing bowl and toss gently with the olive oil, wine, 2 teaspoons salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper. Allow to sit at room temperature while you make the butter and garlic mixture.
  • In a small bowl, mash the softened butter with the garlic, shallots, parsley, rosemary, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, lemon juice, egg yolk, panko, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper until combined.
  • Starting from the outer edge of a 14-inch oval gratin dish, arrange the shrimp in a single layer cut side down with the tails curling up and towards the center of the dish. Pour the remaining marinade over the shrimp. Spread the butter mixture evenly over the shrimp. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until hot and bubbly. If you like the top browned, place under a broiler for 1 minute. Serve with lemon wedges.

1 1/2 lb shrimp that has been shelled and deveined
1 stick butter
1 lemon, sliced thin
1 pkg dry italian seasoning packet

Steps:

  • 1. Prehead oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with sides with foil.
  • 2. Melt butter in oven on lined cookie sheet. Lay lemon slices on melted butter. Lay shrimp on top of butter and lemons. Sprinkle the dry Italian dressing mix on top of shrimp. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, until light golden brown.
  • 3. This is great alone or served on pasta or rice using melted butter/lemon juice drizzled on top.
  • 4. It is hard for me to say how many shrimp to use since shrimp come in different weights and sizes. Just use your own judgment. I usually us a medium shrimp and I can lay around 36 on a cookie sheet.

Steps:

  • Toss the shrimp in a medium bowl with 1 teaspoon of salt and red pepper flakes. Heat the 3 tablespoons oil in a heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and saute for about a minute, toss, and continue cooking until just cooked through, about 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer the shrimp to a large plate; set aside. Add the onion to the same skillet, adding 1 to 2 teaspoons of olive oil to the pan, if necessary, and saute until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes with their juices, wine, garlic, and oregano. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 10 minutes. 1.5 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon honey

1 pound peeled and deveined jumbo or extra large RAW shrimp, tail on (* fresh or frozen and defrosted is fine)

  • If your shrimp does not come deveined, this is pretty easy to do. Remove the shell (which is usually already cut) and use a small knife to cut along the back side of the shrimp. There will be a slimy dark "line" that becomes exposed. Remove that from the shrimp and rinse. Pat the shrimp dry.
  • Place all the ingredients except shrimp in a food processor and blend it till almost smooth. Pour sauce over the shrimp, toss, and place in the refrigerator to marinate 30min to an hour. If using a grill, thread your shrimp onto skewers.
  • Prepare your grill or grill pan to medium high heat. Place your shrimp on the hot grill or grill pan and cook, not moving for 2 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side another 2-3 minutes, depending on the size of your shrimp. You want them to be opaque with no clear/grayish parts. Serve immediately or cover and chill for up to 2 days.

1.5 cups Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
4 Tbsp olive oil
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 Tbsp lemon juice
8 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp parmigiano reggiano
2 Tbsp parsley
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Steps:

  • Chop parsley, mince garlic, and preheat oven to 400f.
  • In a large pan saute garlic in 4 Tbsp butter and 1 Tbsp olive oil over medium heat for 2 minutes or until golden. Add the breadcrumbs, parmigiano reggiano, parsley, oregano, crushed red pepper, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and white wine. Mix thoroughly and remove from heat.
  • In an oven safe baking dish or cast iron pan arrange shrimp with tails pointing up. Place the bread crumbs on top of shrimp. Add the remaining breadcrumbs and 1/2 cup of water to the center of pan. Drizzle 3 Tbsp of olive oil all over the shrimp and bake for 10 minutes.
  • After ten minutes, broil for 2 more minutes or until nice and brown. Remove shrimp from oven and plate with lemon wedges and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Spoon sauce from middle of pan onto plates. If sauce is dry loosen it with a 1/4 cup of water. Enjoy!
