BAKED BANANA OATMEAL
I love baked oatmeal and make many different versions, but this is one of my kids favorites. It is really easy to throw together and smells so good. We like to eat it topped with vanilla yogurt.

BAKED BANANAS
Desserts were never a large part of the African diet. For a long time, sugar was really expensive. Desserts were usually reserved for Christmas. This is a fairly healthy and easy to fix dessert. Recipe from Angela Shelf Medearis.

This recipe is from the McCaffrey House Inn which is nestled in a small town next to our family cabin. This can be served for breakfast on a cold blustery day. Edit: I have reduced the orange juice to 1 cup (previously was 1 1/2 cups).

BREAKFAST BANANAS
I created this crazy breakfast one morning, when trying to decide what to feed my 4 kids. They gave rave reviews, and it has become a regular breakfast around the house. It is also a great breakfast to have the kids help prepare. Totally kid friendly! Best if eaten with a fork. Plus, this breakfast includes all 4 food groups!
