Baked Beans With Ground Beef Topping Food

BAKED BEANS WITH GROUND BEEF

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a 2 1/2 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
• Brown ground beef; add the dry onion soup mix during the browning process. Drain excess grease if needed.
• To the ground beef, add all remaining ingredients and stir.
• Pour into prepared dish.
• Bake for 30 - 45 minutes or until bubbly and hot.

GROUND BEEF BAKED BEANS

Steps:

• In a Dutch oven, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients; heat through. Transfer to 2 greased 2-qt. baking dishes. Cover and freeze 1 dish for up to 3 months., Cover and bake the second dish at 400° for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake until bubbly, 10-15 minutes longer., To use frozen casserole: Thaw in the refrigerator. Cover and bake at 400° for 40 minutes. Uncover; bake until bubbly, 15-20 minutes longer.

BAKED BEANS WITH GROUND BEEF TOPPING

Steps:

• In large frying pan cook beef in its own fat; breaking it up and stirring to cook evenly. Add bell pepper and onion. Saute until beef is brown and vegetables are limp.
• Put aside 4 strips of bacon. Cut remaining bacon into 2 inch strips and add to beef mixture.
• Stir in tomato sauce, water, vinegar, mustard, garlic, thyme, brown sugar, liquid smoke, salt and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.
• Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spoon pork and beans into greases 1 ½ quart baking dish. Top with meat mixture. Place full strips of bacon over top of beef mixture. Bake in preheated oven 45 minutes.
